Social media user issues apology to Samini following threats

Musician Samini has expressed his displeasure after an individual on X (formerly Twitter) labeled him as “foolish” for sharing his grievances regarding the Ghana vs Mozambique AFCON match.

Samini had used his platform to voice disappointment and criticize certain players following the Black Stars’ draw, which left Ghana’s fate in the tournament uncertain.

However, a user on X took issue with Samini’s approach, accusing him of acting like a know-it-all.

Surprised by the insult, Samini questioned why the individual resorted to name-calling when he was simply expressing concerns about the performance of “our” Black Stars as a Ghanaian.

He emphasized that while opinions are welcome, there was no need for insults, tribal references, or an air of invincibility.

“I’ll find you, I promise,” the ‘My Own’ hitmaker wrote.

The young man, however, seemed unaffected by the musician and carried on mocking him while expressing his hatred for Samini.

In turn, Samini wrote, “lol. Continue with the insults young man. You hate me and that’s on you. Sorry. But for saying all these prepare to say it to me in my face if we ever cross paths lol. I only expressed myself sentiments. You could do sake without insults. You chose your route you take it bro. Peace.”

After that, the X user posted a screenshot of a conversion in which Samini pledged to locate him.

Even though the young man appeared comfortable approaching Samini, he later sent Samini a direct message in which he apologized for his actions, asked for forgiveness, and explained that they were the result of “frustrations.”

“I don’t know how to say it, but please I’m begging you in the name of Allah, please forgive me. Please I am sorry for that. I am nobody to speak to you in such way, so please don’t follow the anger and hurt me,” the social media user wrote.

Samini pardoned the young man who had pushed him to become a better person.
