Ghanaian highlife sensation Kofi Kinaata remains steadfast in his faith amidst a recent death prophecy circulating online, stating that he doesn’t dwell on such predictions but rather puts his trust in God.
The prophecy, voiced by a pastor in a viral video, urged prayers for Kofi’s safety from perceived dangers.
“…and that you man that sings that they call him Kofi Kinaata, that represents Takoradi, the should pray for him. I kid you not. I don’t give prophecies about these musicians. I don’t do that. But in the hour when the angel was speaking me, I saw him and the angel told me he is the next they are going for. They will cut off his life prematurely if care is not taken.”
During an interview on Joy Prime’s morning show, Kofi acknowledged awareness of the prophecy but chose not to give it much attention.
He expressed fatigue with such prophecies, noting that they have been a recurring theme throughout his music career.
“I hear this every month, sometimes in a month it would come from different places. I don’t even want to talk about it. That’s what he has seen and he’s saying it. Maybe me too I have seen it and I haven’t come out to say it. I hear this every month, sometimes in a month it would come from different places. I pray five times daily, I’m unfazed,” Kofi Kinaata stated.
Kofi emphasized that his commitment to prayer, about five times a day, is rooted in his personal Christian beliefs rather than in response to specific prophecies.
His response reflects a resilient spirit focused on faith rather than fear.
