Ghanaian musician Kwabena Kwabena has shared his reasons for distancing himself from award schemes, citing the controversies they often involve.

He believes these schemes can lead to unhealthy rivalries among musicians, negatively affecting both artists and their fans.

In an interview on Hitz FM, Kwabena Kwabena expressed his preference for celebrating music rather than participating in award schemes.

“I appreciate award schemes, but I choose not to be part of them because of the associated controversies. I’d rather see music celebrated,” he stated.
