Ghanaian highlife sensation, Peter Famiyeh Bozah, known by the stage name Fameye, bared his soul on his touching journey from poverty to fame, revealing his reliance on spiritual means, including holy handkerchiefs and oils, to break into the music industry.
In an exclusive interview on Daybreak Hitz, he candidly shared the challenges he faced, expressing his desperation that led him to consider black magic (voodoo).
Ultimately, the artist credits his breakthrough to seeking the face of God, highlighting a transformative shift from spiritual trials to divine blessings in his flourishing music career.
“I bought all forms of holy handkerchiefs, oils, etc., but it did not work. I was always roaming from pastor to pastor, so honestly, I wouldn’t know which item even worked for me. However, I never tried voodoo because I am a weakling and I have a soft spirit. If not, I would have gone for it because I have really suffered.
“But I never did juju because I am not strong enough and I have a gentle spirit, otherwise, I would have done it because I have suffered a lot,” Fameye stated.
