“I am completely out of politics” – Kwabena Kwabena ahead of 2024 polls

Renowned Ghanaian musician Kwabena Kwabena has affirmed his disinterest in participating in political campaigns for any party in the upcoming elections, stating that he is finished with politics.

During an interview on TV3’s ‘New Day,’ the Aso hitmaker emphasised that this decision extends to refraining from composing songs for any political party.

“I am completely out of politics. I am a Ghanaian,” he said when asked if he would campaign for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in this year’s general election. 

Kwabena Kwabena, who has previously shown strong support for the governing New Patriotic Party and played a significant role in their 2016 election campaign, has now distanced himself from political involvement.

In the realm of music, the award-winning artist, known for hits like “Tokro,” “Bue Kwan,” “Adult Music,” “Tuamudaa,” and “Afraid to Lose You,” is gearing up for a special collaboration with the talented songstress Becca at the Vita Milk Love Night event.

The event is scheduled to take place at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, February 14.
