The spotlight is on Henry Fritz, a well-known businessman whose viral video with a popular media personality has set social media abuzz, revealing both his lavish lifestyle and financial woes.
Entertainment journalist Brixton Kwame Obed, based in Koforidua, shared insights into Fritz’s public persona and private struggles.
Describing Fritz as a prominent figure in town, Obed highlighted his extensive property holdings, including mansions, hotels, and undisclosed assets.
Fritz’s personal life came into focus during an interview on Peace FM, where Obed detailed his relationships: two wives—one in the U.S. named Dela with three children, and another in Ghana with two children—alongside a girlfriend who also has a child with him.
Fritz’s grand wedding, which made waves on social media, saw guests generously gifted with $200 each, underscoring his wealth and generosity.
“Henry Fritz is a rich man, he owns a lot of apartments, hotels and others which are not known. During his wedding all invited guests received $200 each. He has 2 wives and a girlfriend who all have children for him. Henry Fritz is not a small boy at all,” Entertainment journalist Obed stated.
Obed also confirmed that renowned broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah was paid to host Fritz’s event, further showcasing his affluent lifestyle.
“Nana Aba was paid to MC the event.”
However, amidst the glitz and glamour, Fritz encountered financial difficulties, leading to the sale of his 19-room hotel in Koforidua. Reports from his employees painted a picture of unpaid salaries, mounting debts, and the hotel’s facilities being emptied during tough times.
“Things turned sour for Henry Fritz, leading to him to sell his hotel in Koforidua, his workers divulged this information to me, they complained at a point in time things were bad, unpaid salaries, debts accrued to people who emptied the hotel room of it’s facilities infact he sold the hotel.”
The leaked video featuring Fritz and a media personality, along with other clips alongside celebrities like Efia Odo, have thrust him into the media spotlight, shedding light on both his opulent living and the challenges he faces in maintaining it.
