Patrick Amenuvor, the viral sensation known for his ambitious quest to compete in the Guinness World Records Stand-a-Thon, has shared in an exclusive interview with Ghanaian blogger Zion Felix that he did not secure approval from the prestigious awarding body.
In the interview, Patrick revealed that the inspiration for the stand-a-thon originated deep within him, prompting him and his team to coin the term after failing to find similar attempts on the official Guinness World Records pages.
Despite the absence of a specific category, Patrick and his team decided to forge ahead with their innovative idea.
However, financial requirements for filing an official application caught Patrick off guard, hindering him from proceeding with the formal Guinness World Records approval process.
Undeterred by the setback, Patrick chose to embark on the Stand-a-Thon challenge without the official endorsement of the Guinness World Record board.
In an official statement released by Patrick, he said he was unable to fulfill challenge citing challenges beyond his control.
