Frank Nero denies claims of having a sexual relationship with colleague actor Emelia Brobbey

Kumawood actor Frank Nero has expressed dissatisfaction over a rumour circulating on social media, alleging that he has had an affair with actress Emelia Brobbey.

In an interview with Abro GH TV on November 7, 2024, the actor stated that he views Emelia Brobbey as an elder sister and is disturbed by attempts on social media to tarnish his reputation.

“Let me start by saying that I have not had any sexual intercourse with Emelia Brobbey. I even respect her and can’t even look her in the face. I initially didn’t want to talk about it, but I think it’s time Ghanaians stop speculating about these issues,” he said.

He also urged Ghanaians to avoid spreading misinformation about actors, noting the potential harm to their reputations.

“It’s time we stop these things because people can just tarnish your hard-earned reputation, knowing you won’t complain. Just because people knew me when I was growing up doesn’t mean I am still a kid.

“They shouldn’t judge me based on roles I might have played before,” he added.

Background

Allegations recently surfaced on social media linking actress Emelia Brobbey to a scandal involving her colleague Frank Nero.

Two TikTok users claimed that Frank Nero had been romantically involved with the actress.

In a separate interview on Fakye Showbiz on November 3, 2024, Emelia Brobbey addressed these accusations, stating that those trying to damage her reputation would face consequences, as she has left the matter in God’s hands.
