A tweet by WebkidAfrika has caused a stir on social media, accusing Dance with a Purpose (DWP) Academy of being an advocate for the LGBTQ+ movement in Ghana.
The tweet also threw shade at two of the academy’s star dancers, Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah aka Afronitaa and Endurance Dzigbordi Dedzo, asking if they are males or females.
The tweet said, “DWP is an Advocate for this LGBTQ+ Agenda. It’s kinda hard to differentiate the guys from the ladies in this DWP academy. Afronita & Endurance are they males or females think?”
Twitter exploded with opinions – some fans fiercely defending the dancers, others chilling on the neutral sidelines, and a bunch nodding in agreement with the accusation.
One brave soul even added some spice to the mix, claiming that Afronita and Endurance are bisexual. Mind you, we couldn’t fact-check this tea.

The DWP Academy catapulted to global stardom after featuring in Beyoncé’s “Black Is King” album and has collaborated with various prominent figures in the global entertainment industry.
Afronita and Endurance, members of DWP and well-known figures in the global dance scene, have been turning heads in the Ghanaian and African dance scenes, notching up fame with jaw-dropping dance videos and bagging sweet brand endorsements.
But this controversy is about the fashion choices of the female members, including Afronita and Endurance, who often wear baggy clothes, sneakers, or boots, males underwear etc, giving off a tomboy vibe.
While these dancers have not openly talked about LGBTQ+ issues, the recent questions and comments about their gender identities have sparked curiosity in how they may respond.
