Sean “Diddy” Combs, a prominent figure in the rap industry, faces a new legal challenge as another woman, former porn star Adria English, has come forward with fresh accusations against him. Filed in New York, this complaint is the latest in a series of lawsuits alleging sexual assault and coercion against Combs in recent months.
Combs, known for his success as a rap mogul, has consistently denied all allegations of sexual assault and physical abuse, including these latest claims. Despite the mounting legal pressure, including a federal criminal investigation reported by NBC News, no imminent charges have been mentioned.
Earlier allegations by his ex-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura and footage from 2016 showing an altercation between Combs and Ventura have also contributed to his legal challenges. The new case from Adria English alleges that Combs forced her into sex work at parties and threatened her career if she did not comply, among other claims detailed in a 114-page filing covering events between 2004 and 2009.
Combs’s legal team maintains his innocence, stating, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone,” expressing confidence in prevailing against the allegations in court.
This latest lawsuit follows a settlement in November with Ventura, where Combs resolved allegations of rape and sexual trafficking without admitting wrongdoing. Federal investigations into human trafficking, involving raids on Combs’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami earlier this year, continue, according to sources cited by NBC News. Specific details about the federal probe have not been disclosed by officials or Combs’s legal representatives.
