Renowned musician Nana Osei popularly known as Nacee, the creative force behind the hit song “Aseda,” has called on the members of the senior national team, the Black Stars, to contribute their earnings to orphans if they fail to secure victories in their matches.
Expressing his sentiment on Facebook, Nacee highlighted the immense passion Ghanaians have for the team and emphasized that such passionate support should be reciprocated with successful performances on the field.
In the midst of a recent dip in the Black Stars‘ performance, including a loss in their first group match at the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON), Nacee’s proposal aims to channel funds towards charitable causes, specifically aiding orphans.
Despite the team’s struggles, the Black Stars continue to receive substantial backing from the public, with many supporters echoing Nacee’s call by responding with ‘AYT’ (All Years Together) in agreement on his Facebook post.
“GHANA BLACKSTARS!!! This level of Love Ghanaians have shown you… If you do not win your matches, the best thing to do is to say they should give your monies to orphans… All those in support say AYT….,” Nacee stated.
