Culinary expert Chef Faila Abdul Razak, known popularly as Chef Faila and renowned for her culinary prowess, is geared up to represent Ghana on the international stage at the upcoming International Horticultural Expo in Doha, Qatar, this Saturday (9 March).
Despite facing a recent setback in her bid for the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest individual cooking attempt, Chef Faila has been extended an exclusive invitation by the Ghana Tourism Authority.
This invitation offers her the chance to collaborate with a local caterer in showcasing the diverse and flavorful tapestry of Ghanaian cuisine.
Sharing the exciting news on her Facebook page, Chef Faila expressed her enthusiasm for the opportunity to highlight the rich cultural heritage of Ghana through its traditional dishes.
As part of her culinary exhibition, Chef Faila will be presenting an array of Ghanaian delicacies and authentic drinks such as millet drink, cocoa drink, and sobolo to the international patrons attending the event.
In a press statement, Chef Faila remarked, “Participating in the International Horticultural Expo is an incredible opportunity for me to share my passion for Ghanaian cuisine with a global audience. I am thrilled to represent Ghana and showcase the extraordinary flavors that define our culinary heritage.”
Chef Faila will leave Ghana tomorrow for the event, which will end on Tuesday (12 March).
