Renowned radio personality Abubakar Ahmed, known professionally as Blakk Rasta, known for his outspoken stance against social injustices, has criticized Yaw Buaben Asamoah for alleged unpatriotic behavior.
Speaking on the Black Pot segment of his radio show, Urban Blend on 3FM, Blakk Rasta expressed concern for Ghana’s future and highlighted leadership failures.
“These two parties are selfish, greedy and only interested in themselves and what they will get. They don’t have the interest of Ghanaians at heart.” Buabeng Asamoah asserted.
The criticism stems from Buaben Asamoah’s recent claim that both the National Democratic Congress and New Patriotic Party (NPP) are selfish and greedy parties, with only Alan Kyerematen being incorruptible.
Blakk Rasta, however, accused Asamoah of double standards, pointing out his previous defence of the NPP government’s alleged corruption scandals.
The radio host asserts that Buaben Asamoah’s shifting allegiance and opinions undermine his credibility.
“Buaben Asamoah, a few days back was touting the nonexistent prowess and achievements of the Nana Akuffo Addo Bawumia government, but after he was sacked all of a sudden is talking common sense,” Blakk Rasta stated.
Blakk Rasta urged Ghanaians not to defend political entities that, in his view, have denied them their due and contributed to the country’s dire social and economic situation.
