Ghanaian event organizer, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum who recently fell short in her world record attempt for the longest singing, has unveiled plans for a ‘Thank You tour’ set to kick off on August 24, 2024.
In a recent tweet, Afua expressed her gratitude to the countries that supported her Guinness World Record endeavor and revealed that the tour will commence in Toronto, Canada.
Asantewaa has invited both Ghanaians and non-Ghanaians to join the tour, which is scheduled to conclude on September 3, 2024, and is being sponsored by Airmart, a reputable travel agency.
“I am deeply grateful to the countries that stood by me during my Guinness World Record attempt. Join me in expressing thanks, starting with the vibrant community of Ghanaians and non-Ghanaians in Toronto, Canada. Let’s embark on this incredible journey together from August 24 to September 3, 2024,” she tweeted.
The tour package includes a flight ticket for participants, 10 nights of hotel accommodation, Canadian visa fees, biometric fees, and guided tours in Toronto, among other offerings.
Although Afua’s attempt to break the current record for the longest singing was unsuccessful, as announced by the Guinness World Records last month, her determination and gratitude continue to resonate as she looks forward to this new chapter of appreciation and connection.
