YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon has waded into the conversation involving the controversy surrounding the families of the dancers, Afronita and Abigail.
In a video on TikTok, Kwadwo Sheldon recounted how the feud began, saying that their parents had compromised the relationship between the dance stars before they represented Ghana at this year’s British Got Talent.
According to him, “For six months, Afronita and Abigail were not on speaking terms.”
Kwadwo Sheldon blamed the unfortunate issues on the transition of Afronita’s management from the DWP Academy to her mother.
After the two talented dancers represented Ghana at this year’s British Got Talent, it seems the mothers of Afronita and Abigail can’t seem to agree on the next stage for careers of the girls.
According to some reports, it has been alleged that the mother of Abigail is acting ungrateful after all the support she got from Afronita’s family. It has been alleged that one of the supporters and close family friend of Afronita took Abigail and her mother on a shopping spree. But Abigail’s mother allegedly complained that the items that was picked for them was cheap and valueless.
A few weeks ago, Ghanaian dance duo Afronita and Abigail placed third after a grueling finale of the 2024 Britain’s Got Talent show.
The duo, with their great dance moves and amazing story, have wowed the world throughout the competition, raising high the flag of Ghana and Africa on the global platform.
At the finals on Sunday, June 2, they put up an electrifying performance in bright Ghanaian colours coming up in the top three out of the ten finalists.
However, they came third, which is still a significant feat for the Africans on that global stage. The two young Ghanaians have received massive support from Ghanaians both at home and abroad.
Despite all the success the girls have achieved with talent and hardwork, the feud between both families might ruin their future careers.
