Reality TV sensation and actress, Venita Akpofure, recently disclosed the reasons behind the end of her relationship with fellow contestant Adekunle Olopade, shedding light on the age gap and divergent life paths.
In an exclusive interview on Cool FM’s The Big Friday Show with Tacha, the 37-year-old actress clarified that, despite initial intentions to continue their romance post-show, their plans have taken an unexpected turn.
Venita emphasized that age played a significant role in their breakup, asserting that her wealth of life experience sets her on a different trajectory compared to the 29-year-old former banker.
She clarified that Adekunle is gracefully pursuing his own path, while she, with a deeper understanding of her goals, is charting her course in the entertainment industry.
Addressing the rumors surrounding their relationship, Venita firmly asserted, “Adekunle is fine, but he is definitely walking his own path because our journeys are completely different. I am significantly older, so I have more experience in life. So I know a bit more about the direction I want to go in. Also, this is my field of work. His field of work would probably dabble into this one and cross others. But I am fine. He is cool and walking gracefully in his lane. We are not dating, and that’s how it is.”
