Social media has been buzzing with a video capturing the triumphant return of Ghana’s Guinness World Record (GWR) representative in walking marathon Seidu Rafiwu to Techiman.
Rafiwu, having successfully completed a grueling four-day Guinness World Records Walk-a-thon, was met with an exuberant welcome from his fans.
The video shows fans cheering his name, exuding love and admiration as Rafiwu basks in the joy and happiness of his achievement.
His face adorned with powder and surrounded by supportive staff, Rafiwu waves to the crowd from his car during a tour, expressing gratitude to his loyal supporters.
Seidu Rafiwu is a resident from Techiman in the Bono East Region of Ghana who embarked on a four-day journey in an attempt to surpass the current Guinness World Record for the longest walking marathon.
Seidu Rafiwu, who initiated his ambitious four-day walk from Techiman to Accra, covered a distance of 383 kilometers in a bid to surpass the 48-year-old record held by America’s Jesse Casteneda.
He completed the walking marathon at Ghana’s Independence Square on Tuesday, just hours before noon.
