The former partner of Ghanaian comedian Funny Face, Vanessa Nicole, has emphasized that there is no hostility between her and her ex-husband.
In an interview with Ghanaian blogger, Zion Felix, Vanessa Nicole stated that “We’re on good terms; Funny Face and I maintain a friendly relationship. When parents are on good terms, it reflects positively on the children”.
Vanessa Nicole’s remarks follow Funny Face’s recent emotional turmoil on social media, where he lamented the financial obstacles preventing him from spending time with his daughter.
The comedian has garnered support from both fans and fellow celebrities amid his struggles.
In a Facebook post, Funny Face acknowledged making poor choices and appealed for understanding, especially concerning potential ambassadorial deals that could assist him in reconnecting with his daughters.
“Charley man made some bad choices, and it has cost me .. heeerrhh.. if you won’t help me .. pls just don’t destroy me to other companies who want to use me for ambassadorial deals so I can gradually gather some small money to see my daughters. Four years dis, I no see my daughters demma face .. cos Charley man damu. If by GODs grace too .. I wanna use the talent HE ( GOD ) has given me .. to gradually pick myself from the floor aah .. pls stop destroying me to companies,” he added.
The couple, parents to three children, went through a highly publicized and messy breakup, officially confirming their separation in 2020.
However, Vanessa Nicole has acknowledged that mistakes were made on both sides, attributing part of the blame for the rapid pace of their romance to both herself and her ex-partner.
