According to Gerrald, the saga began when Stonebwoy and his team arrived at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel at 10:12 PM, which was about two hours before his scheduled performance from 12:15 AM to 1:00 AM.
The festival organizers notified them of a changed running order, resulting in an additional hour’s delay, extending the waiting time for Stonebwoy to a frustrating four hours. Despite this unexpected delay, Stonebwoy patiently waited, while other artists such as KiDi, Efya, La Meme, and Joey B performed during the original time slot allocated for Stonebwoy.
However, Stonebwoy eventually took the stage at 1:27 AM with plans for a 45 to 50-minute performance. Within just 30 minutes of his set, chaos erupted when Sarkodie’s team, led by DJ Mensah, abruptly halted Stonebwoy’s performance by instructing his DJ to stop playing. This interference not only disrupted the artist’s flow but also left the audience bewildered.
