Ghanaian boxer Seth Gyimah, popularly known as Freezy Macbones, had a meeting with renowned musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah, who goes by the stage name Shatta Wale.
This encounter took place at the album listening event for Ghanaian rapper Medikal’s album titled “Planning and Plotting,” which was held at Marina Mall in Accra on Thursday, September 28.
The event, highly anticipated and attended by top figures from the creative and arts industries, as well as other notable personalities, provided a platform for Freezy Macbones and Shatta Wale to connect.
A video spotted two individuals engaging in an animated conversation and later posing for photographs together, radiating happiness.
Freezy Macbones was part of the 12-member team that represented Ghana at the 2024 Olympic Games in Dakar in August.
Regrettably, Freezy Macbones and eleven other Ghanaian boxers did not secure berths at the Olympics, as they were all eliminated from the competition.
Freezy Macbones faced an early exit when he was defeated by Senegal’s Seydou Konate in a middleweight (80kg) round of 32 bouts.
Despite this setback, Macbones, aged 33, holds an impressive record of 2 wins in 2 professional bouts since making his debut against Christopher Wood in February 2023.
