Ghana’s captain, Andre Ayew, has urged his squad to play better and asked for composure before their match against South Korea.
At the 974 Stadium on Thursday, the Black Stars lost to Portugal 3-2 in the opening match of Group H.
The West African team will play the Asian team at Education City Stadium in their second group match.
The game will begin at 13:00 GMT.
To advance to the tournament’s second round, the Black Stars must win this match and hope to draw or win their last group game.
Andre, the team’s captain, has urged restraint but also pleaded with his colleagues to elevate their play.
“We need to stay calm, relax and increase our performance,” the Al Sadd forward said ahead of the game.
“We need to try and score more and concede less,” Andre added.
Ghana will wrap up their campaign with a game against two-time world champions, Uruguay.
