American media personality, socialite, and businesswoman Kimberly Noel Kardashian known popularly as Kim Kardashian recently opened up about the driving force behind her highly publicized divorce from billionaire rapper Kanye West, shedding light on the personal struggles that led to their split.
In a candid discussion on the Big Boss show, Kardashian acknowledged West’s immense talent and financial success, calling him “the best rapper of all time” and “the richest black man in America.”
However, she pointed to his character as the decisive factor that ultimately led to their separation.
“I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he is the richest black man in America, a talented legit genius who gave me four incredible kids. So when I divorced him you have to know it came down to just one thing, his personality,” Kardashian revealed during the episode.
The divorce, finalised on November 29, 2022, granted the former couple joint custody of their four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
Their union, which began with a lavish ceremony in Florence, Italy, on May 24, 2014, captivated audiences worldwide, making them one of the most prominent power couples in entertainment.
Throughout their marriage, West and Kardashian’s extravagant lifestyle, fashion choices, and public appearances kept them in the spotlight, while their journey into parenthood with the births of North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm added another dimension to their story.
Despite their shared successes and family milestones, Kardashian’s recent revelation underscored the complexities that led to the dissolution of their high-profile relationship.
