The gathering convened to mourn the loss of a beloved individual, yet amidst the solemnity, there were moments of joy shared.
Family, friends, and sympathizers gathered on Saturday, March 9, 2024, to observe the One-Week celebration of the late Kwabena Kwakye, affectionately known as Wofa KK.
Dignitaries in attendance included Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong, and other prominent figures from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), along with Alan Kyerematen, the Founder and Leader of the Movement for Change.
A notable highlight of the occasion was when Kennedy Agyapong and Alan Kyerematen took to the dance floor, showcasing their dance moves to Ghana’s ‘Isreal eni bedye’ song, as captured in a video shared by GhOne TV.
In the video, Patricia Christabel Kyerematen, Alan Kyerematen’s wife, was also seen dancing alongside him.
The One-Week celebration took place at the forecourt of Ken City Media, where Wofa KK’s body lay in state.
