New Patriotic Party (NPP) vice president and flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia brought a surge of excitement to Ho’s central market on Thursday afternoon.
His visit to the Volta Region is part of a larger tour across Ghana, connecting with various stakeholders.
Dr. Bawumia’s campaign style includes engaging directly with traders and the public in bustling marketplaces and streets.
Walking through the Ho Central Market, he had earlier met with religious leaders, community chiefs, and regional representatives.
Cheers erupted as he stepped off the bus, warmly welcomed by a growing crowd of traders and locals eager to greet him.
Amidst chants of his popular slogan “It Is Possible” in the local Ewe language, Dr. Bawumia navigated the market with confidence, chatting with traders and distributing t-shirts bearing his image and the empowering phrase.
The sudden appearance of these t-shirts sparked excitement, causing a lively commotion among marketgoers and passersby alike.
