The passing of Hajia Rahmatu Tahwee Sheikh Sharubutu, the beloved wife of the National Chief Imam, has elicited deep condolences from Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
In a sombre message posted on social media, Dr. Bawumia expressed profound sorrow and extended heartfelt sympathies to His Eminence, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, and the entire Sharubutu family.
Accompanied by his wife, Hajia Samira Bawumia, the Vice President also offered condolences to the mourning Muslim community during this challenging period.
Employing the Islamic phrase “Inaa lillahi wa inaa ilayhi raji’un” (Verily, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return), Dr. Bawumia invoked prayers for the eternal repose of the departed.
Furthermore, he beseeched for solace and fortitude for the Chief Imam and his family, entreating the Almighty Allah to grant serenity and solace to the departed soul and elevate her to the highest echelons of Paradise, Jannatul Firdaus.
Hajia Rahmatu Tahwee Sheikh Sharubutu, the wife of the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, has passed away.
Her death occurred on Wednesday, March 27, although the cause has not been disclosed.
