Reports from Ukrainian authorities state that three individuals perished as a consequence of Russian artillery shelling in close proximity to the city of Lyman, located in eastern Ukraine.
Two other people were injured in the attacks that targeted the villages of Torske and Zakitne.
According to officials, three people, two women and a man aged between 63 and 88, were sitting on a bench in Torske when shelling hit and they were killed.
Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of Ukraine’s Donetsk region, said on Telegram that three people were killed and one person was injured in Torske, and another civilian was injured in Zakitne.
According to the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office on Facebook, Torske was attacked at 18:50 local time (15:50 GMT) and Zakitne was hit thirty minutes later.
One person in Torske got hurt in their chest, shoulder, and hip, according to the prosecutor’s office.
A man, aged 26, got a broken skull and a brain injury in Zakitne.
In other places, people have said that there were big explosions in the city of Sevastopol in Crimea, which is controlled by Russia.
The governor, chosen by Russia, of the area called the peninsula, said that the fleet was practicing shooting exercises.
At the moment, four people who are not soldiers got hurt by bombs and a house got damaged by two small airplanes in Seredyna-Buda, which is in the Sumy region of north-eastern Ukraine. This information was shared by the regional military administration on Facebook.
Drones also attacked grain storage buildings in the southern Odesa region, which caused a fire to start in one of them. However, the fire was quickly controlled, according to Odesa’s regional governor, Oleg Kiper.
Odesa is the largest port in Ukraine and plays a vital role in exporting grain.
