Brazilian forward Neymar has vehemently dismissed reports circulating in Brazil that suggested his departure from PSG this summer was prompted by physical issues.
In response to claims from Brazilian digital outlet futebolusadia, Neymar referred to them as “fake news.” According to the outlet, one of the cited reasons for Neymar’s PSG departure related to physical problems uncovered during preseason tests.
Neymar responded and wrote: ” Night passes, day passes and things don’t change … there are accounts (like this one) that are not part of the player’s daily life, they don’t know what really happens … I still believe in a future without fake news.”
Back in September, Neymar said that only few people knew what was the motivation behind his €90m move to Saudi club Al Hilal.
“Obviously, there were a lot of guesses everywhere, a lot of know-it-alls who knew the truth of what happened, and no one knows,” he said. “Only I know, few people know what happened for me to arrive at Al-Hilal, but it’s not up to anyone, it’s not up to you.
