Respect the elderly – Adom Kyei Duah fires Christian Council

Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei Duah, the Founder and Leader of the Philadelphia Movement, has delivered a sharp rebuke to the Christian Council of Ghana following their critique of his recent announcement. Duah had declared that he had received a divine mandate to replace traditional images of Jesus Christ with his own likeness for the next 500 years. This proclamation has stirred considerable debate online, with reactions ranging from disbelief to amusement.

In response, the Christian Council of Ghana issued a statement titled “Beware of False Teachers and Messiahs,” in which they rejected Duah’s claim and reaffirmed their belief in the singularity of Jesus Christ as described in the Bible. They emphasized that Prophet Duah cannot and should not be considered a replacement for Jesus, who was born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, and was crucified.

Prophet Adom Kyei Duah countered the Council’s remarks with a stern warning, urging them to show respect. He asserted that the events of the Bible are about to be reenacted accurately, as he plans to produce a film depicting the life of Jesus Christ. According to Duah, previous portrayals of biblical events have been flawed, including those of the “wicked pastors” depicted in the Bible. He called on the Christian Council to be cautious and adhere to proper conduct, hinting at forthcoming dramatic reenactments of biblical events.

He concluded by stressing the need for reverence and respect within the religious community, signaling that his planned film would correct previous inaccuracies in the depiction of biblical narratives.
