People see you as a conman now if you call yourself a prophet – Pastor Otabil fumes

General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Pastor Mensa Otabil, has expressed serious concerns regarding the behaviour of certain pastors in Ghana, suggesting that their conduct is detrimental to the faith of the public.

He noted that the recent actions and statements of some clergymen are leading to a decline in trust and faith among believers.

The respected pastor lamented the absence of a governing authority in the religious sector that would assess and verify individuals before granting them pastoral titles such as prophet or bishop.

Pastor Otabil cautioned that if religious leaders fail to act in alignment with God’s intentions, they risk losing the confidence of the community.

“As a charismatic church, we see so much power, and maybe that is what all of you see. But I see so much danger and so much self-destruction, so much dissipation of confidence. More and more, the congregation and the public are losing confidence in us. They are losing confidence in men of God, in clergymen. If you call yourself a prophet, it’s almost like a title meaning conman.

“How can we take such a sacred title that Isaiah had, that Jeremiah had, all of these great people, and commoditise it and cheapen it so much that now this noble title almost means a conman?

Because there is no regulatory body, everybody picks titles as they want and parades with it,” he said while preaching to a congregation at the Desert Pastures, Bolgatanga (home church of Rev. Eastwood Anaba).

This statement is made amidst a period when several self-proclaimed prophets have been vocal about their insights and forecasts concerning the upcoming 2024 general elections.

Phones in churches must be stopped ; trends of pornography consumption are alarming – Prophet Kumchacha laments

Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha and founder of Heaven’s Gate Ministry, expressed worry regarding the common use of smartphones in churches.

The religious leader highlighted a disconcerting trend of congregants accessing explicit content, attributing the shift from physical Bibles to digital devices as a contributing factor.

Prophet Kumchacha lamented the decline in the presence of traditional Bibles during church services, noting that smartphones have inadvertently become a gateway to pornography within the sacred space.

During the interview, he shared his dismay, asserting, “Now people don’t come to church with Bibles. All they come along with is their phones. You’ll be shocked to note that while you ask for quotations, people will be watching pornography on their phones.”

Emphasising the importance of vigilance and discernment among worshippers, Prophet Kumchacha cautioned against engaging in activities inconsistent with the sanctity of the church environment.

Despite acknowledging the technological advancements of the modern world, he stressed the significance of upholding moral standards and preserving the sacredness of religious gatherings.

Prophet Nigel Gaisie, from the Prophetic Hill Chapel in Accra, delivered his New Year’s prophecies during the early hours of Monday, January 1, 2024, cautioning the congregation to pray against some unsettling events revealed to him by God.

Conducting the 31st December Watch Night Service at the church headquarters in Dome, prophet Gaisie shared approximately 20 prophecies, as reported by GhanaWeb.

Among them, he made a prediction concerning a Deputy Minister of Finance.

In his prophecy, prophet Gaisie foresaw the potential ascent of the deputy minister to the highest echelons of government if he could successfully navigate impending threats against him.

“I saw a deputy Minister of Finance, if he can take care of himself, I see him at the highest height of government, but they want to attack him.

“If he can take care of himself, in the next years, God will help him and I saw him at the seat of government, but they have ganged, they have sat down, they want to crash him, a deputy minister of finance,” Prophet Nigel Gaisie declared without mentioning a specific name.

During the prophecy, Ghana had two deputy finance ministers, John Kumah and Abena Osei-Asare.

The prophetic words appear to have materialized with the passing of John Kumah on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

The late MP had previously been rumored as a potential running mate to Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer for the 2024 elections.

Prophet Gaisie later posted a message on Facebook suggesting that he was referring to the late MP in his prophecy.

They will ‘kill’ Moesha Boduong – Prophecy drops amidst donations for medical treatment

A viral video circulating on social media identifies a Prophet by name Nana Kwabena Joshua, the founder of Glorious Global Empire International Ministries, predicts a dark fate for popular actress Moesha Boudong.

The prophet claims that he foresaw Moesha’s current predicament back in 2019 and warned against the GOFundMe account set up by Moesha’s brother.

According to Prophet Nana Kwabena Joshua, Moesha’s troubles are not merely physical but of a spiritual nature.

He discloses that, despite his prayers to avert the unfortunate incident, Moesha will struggle to survive, and even if she does, she will face spiritual attacks due to revelations about her past.

The prophet urges the public to refrain from contributing to the GOFundMe campaign, alleging that the funds may be misused.

He emphasizes the importance of Moesha turning to God, claiming that only through embracing Christianity can she find freedom from the spiritual forces tormenting her.

Quoting a previous prediction by another religious figure, Rev Obofour, from 2019, Prophet Nana Kwabena Joshua asserts that Moesha’s salvation lies in accepting Christ.

Failure to do so, he claims, will result in the torment of hidden secrets that will haunt her until her demise.

Meanwhile, Moesha’s celebrity friends, including singer Efya, Becca and actress Akuapem Poloo, are rallying support through a GOFundMe campaign to raise funds for the ailing actress.

“In the year 2019, Rev Oborfuor predicted Moesha Boudong will fall ill, that if she gives her life to Christ she will be set free. If she does not give her life to Christ, she has a lot of peoples secret which will torment her till she dies.

“She is not battling a physical force but a spiritual force, so this GOFundme account, someone will squander the money for free. People know that when she recovers and takes God as her personal savior, she is going to expose them that is why they are tormenting her,” Prophet Nana Kwabena Joshua stated.

Respect and protect your wife but don’t trust her – Prophet

Prophet Prince Elisha Osei Kofi, the Founder and General Overseer of Grace Family Church (formerly Power Embassy Church), has advised married men not to trust their wives but respect them.

“You don’t have to trust women. Women are not to be trusted. We don’t trust ourselves as men, so why should we trust women? Kwabena [referring to the host] do you trust yourself? Let us put you in a room and bring in a naked woman to see if you can handle it. You should not put your trust in your wife. All you have to do is respect her, treat her well, and protect her.”

He went on to say that men should protect their wives and not let them go out alone all the time.

“As a married man, you should not let your wife go to the club by herself. Some men allow their wives to date other men, and if they are unlucky, their wives are pursued by other men. You are a pot-belly man who allows your wife to go out by herself and men with six packs. That is not correct.”

Meanwhile, the man of God has also advised men who engage in long-distance relationships and marriages to be cautious.

Such unions he opined breed cheating and heartbreaks and waste of resources.

  • I have never seen a genuine prophet in my entire life, says 63-year-old KSM

Ghanaian TV host, Kwaku Sintim-Misa, popularly known as KSM, has emphatically stated that he has never encountered a genuine Prophet of God in his entire life.

KSM based his comment on how Prophets who claim to be speaking for the same God are prophesying contradicting things.

Citing an example, he said, “the same God that you all pray to has told some people that Mahama will win and the same God has told others Nana Addo will win”.

Speaking to his targeted Prophets, he continued that ” is God playing games with you? I don’t think so, I think you are liars and I will say it. Ever since I’ve been born into this world, I’ll be 64 soon, I haven’t seen one genuine prophet in my life”.

However, in a conversation with Ghanaian blogger, Eugene Osafo Nkansah, KSM added that “I am not saying there’s no genuine prophet, I am saying that I have not encountered any genuine before”.
The host of The KSM Show also stated that the Coronavirus outbreak has exposed all these fake prophets because they never saw it coming. Hear more from him in the video below.

Business mogul Osei Kwame Despite may soon become the next president of Ghana, Prophet Benjamin Nana Yaw Osei Tutu has stated.

Prophet Osei Tutu explained that the Peace FM owner has been ordained by God to become a president if only he would stand.

According to him, God revealed to him that Ghana was a country which thrived on trading and thus will only do better with a businessman as the president. And of the many people that appeared in the vision, it was Osei Kwame Despite who was wearing a crown.

The prophet further claimed that even if Osei Kwame Despite decides to contest the 2020 elections with just one month to go, he was going to win. He, however, indicated that the business mogul’s spirit was not interested in holding such a political position.
