Since breaking into the mainstream in 2022, Asake has experienced international success with numerous chart-topping singles across two highly acclaimed albums.
In a notable achievement, Asake is scheduled to headline the iconic O2 Arena in London for the second time on September 21, as part of his upcoming “Lungu Boy” tour kicking off in August 2024.
This follows his previous sell-out performance at the 20,000-capacity venue in 2023.
Ahead of the tour, Asake announced the release of a new LP titled ‘Lungu Boy,’ marking his third album in three years and fourth project since January 2022.
In 2024, Asake has released only one single, ‘Only Me,’ which dropped as a surprise on his birthday.
However, he has been actively collaborating with artists like Zlatan, Ayra Starr, Victony, Tems, and Central Cee. Additionally, his upcoming album is rumored to feature a collaboration with American rapper Travis Scott.
The ‘Lungu Boy’ album and tour signify another significant milestone in Asake’s career, continuing his impactful journey and influential presence in the music industry.
