Mbappe found new club and new love? As he is spotted holding hands with model Dani Grace

Kylian Mbappe might have a new club and a new partner, as Real Madrid’s latest ‘Galactico’ was spotted getting close with model Dani Grace Almeida in Miami.

The France international has joined Santiago Bernabeu as a free agent, leaving Paris Saint-Germain as the club’s all-time leading goalscorer. He was officially presented to Blancos fans at a sold-out ceremony.

Mbappe is not included in Real Madrid’s plans for their U.S. tour as he recovers from a broken nose sustained during the Euro 2024 campaign.

The 25-year-old is currently in the United States, recharging ahead of the 2024-25 season. According to Page Six, Mbappe was seen in Florida holding hands with Almeida.

The duo enjoyed activities like bowling at Lucky Strike, partying at LIV nightclub, and dining at Kiki.

A source in the States has said: “They were very cosy with their hands on each others’ legs and held hands walking out.”
Almeida shared a video on social media of her attending a PSG game in April – where she sat in the section reserved for guests of Mbappe.

She has told Page Six when contacted about the romance rumours: “I do not personally wish to comment on our status at this time.”

Mbappe was formerly linked to Belgian model Stephanie Rose Bertram. Now, he seems to be embracing new beginnings both professionally and personally, with his Real Madrid debut anticipated in the UEFA Super Cup against Atalanta on August 14.

I will sue instigators of Miami trip claims – Sammy Gyamfi

The Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has declared his intention to take legal action against individuals responsible for spreading false allegations about his purported trip to Miami with his wife.

This follows widespread reports and a viral video suggesting Mr. Gyamfi used party funds for a lavish trip to Miami, which he vehemently denies.

Speaking on Adom TV, Mr. Gyamfi dismissed the allegations as ‘ridiculous and baseless’, providing evidence of his activities during the claimed period, such as attending funerals and organizing party events.

He clarified that the video in question likely dates back to a previous trip after his marriage, not a recent visit to Miami.

Mr. Gyamfi has stated his readiness to pursue legal recourse against those responsible for disseminating the misleading information.

“These are just lies from demented minds. At the time they wrote the story, they wrote the story I believe Friday or Saturday. Saturday I was at Mawuena Trebarh’s funeral, Sunday I was at Suame for our regional organiser’s mother’s funeral, even on Wednesday I was in Accra here for hosting NDC 360 and was in the High Court on Thursday with Dr Ato Forson. So when was I in Miami and that NDC had given me 42,000 dollars? So it’s just ridiculous, just purely nonsensical.”

“This is just foolishness because I’ve never been to the hotel they are talking about, I know nothing about that hotel. I’ve never stayed in Miami for two weeks. I’ve been in Miami a couple of times just like other States in the US, including Miami a couple of times.”

“The video circulating has been cut from one of my past trips to Miami with my wife, I believe the immediate aftermath of my marriage. How that can be an issue to a group of people shows how frustrated they are and how fixated they are with Sammy Gyamfi, because I’m not paid by the government so how does my trip with my wife for a break an issue to you?”

“But you know what, there are certain things that you allow to pass because of the nature of our jobs and the fact that we cannot find time for certain things. Some of the people circulating the video, is really they will not even know you.

“These are some unemployed NPP foot soldiers who have been paid to do that so you cannot even hold them responsible however, there are some people who will be taking on relative to this matter and the issues will be settled in court.”

Travis Scott arrested for intoxication and trespassing

American rapper Travis Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster, was arrested in Miami on Thursday at around 01:45 local time.

The Miami Beach Police Department detained the 33-year-old on suspicion of disorderly intoxication and trespassing after responding to a disturbance at the Miami Beach Marina. Officers were called to reports of a fight on a yacht, where they encountered Scott shouting at people on the vessel.

The police report indicates that Scott smelled strongly of alcohol and initially complied with officers’ instructions to leave the dock.

However, he soon returned, yelling obscenities and disregarding officers’ commands, which led to his arrest. Scott’s legal representative, Bradford Cohen, described the incident as a “misunderstanding,” emphasizing that no physical altercation occurred.

Travis Scott is a prominent figure in the hip-hop industry, boasting 10 Grammy nominations. He shares two children with Kylie Jenner.

His European tour is set to begin in the Netherlands on 28 June, with performances in London and Manchester in July. This incident follows the tragic 2021 Astroworld festival in Houston, Texas, where 10 fans died in a crowd surge.

Although Scott did not face criminal charges, he is still involved in civil litigation related to the event. His recent album, Utopia, topped the UK charts shortly after a planned concert in front of Egypt’s pyramids was canceled.

American rapper Diddy’s home raided by US Homeland Security in connection with sex trafficking allegations

Federal agents from the Department of Homeland Security recently conducted raids on two residences owned by renowned hip-hop artist Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The targeted properties were located in Los Angeles and Miami.

The investigation, spearheaded by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents based in New York, is linked to a lawsuit filed against Combs last year by a former girlfriend, accusing him of involvement in sex trafficking.

While details of the investigation were not disclosed by HSI, the agency has the authority to probe various illegal activities, including sex trafficking, money laundering, and contraband trafficking.

The lawsuit against Combs, filed in federal court in Manhattan by R&B vocalist Cassandra Ventura, alleged physical abuse, sexual slavery, and rape during their decade-long professional and romantic relationship.

The legal action cited violations of federal, New York state, and California laws related to sex and human trafficking.

Following Ventura’s lawsuit, Combs and Ventura settled the case privately, with Combs maintaining his innocence and denouncing the accusations as attempts to extort money.

The legal actions against Combs have opened the door to additional lawsuits alleging sexual assault and rape, including a recent civil complaint accusing him of participating in the gang rape of a teenager two decades ago.

The raids on Combs’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami were covered by local media, with footage showing law enforcement officers carrying out searches and detaining individuals.

The investigations and outcomes of the raids are currently ongoing.

  • Icon of the Seas: Biggest cruise ship in the world begins its first journey from Miami

Icon of the Seas: Biggest cruise ship in the world begins its first journey from Miami

The biggest cruise ship in the world has started its first trip from Miami, Florida. People are worried about the ship causing pollution by releasing methane gas.

The Icon of the Seas is 365 meters long and has 20 floors. It can hold a maximum of 7,600 passengers. Royal Caribbean Group owns it.

The boat is going on a trip to visit different islands in the tropics for seven days.

Environmentalists are saying that the LNG-powered ship will release harmful methane gas into the air.

Even though LNG is cleaner than fuel oil, it can still leak methane into the air.

Methane is a stronger greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide.

Bryan Comer, who is the director of the Marine Programme at the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT), said it’s a bad move. He told Reuters news agency that.

“He said using LNG as a marine fuel emits more than 120% extra greenhouse gas emissions than marine gas oil. ”

Earlier this week, the ICCT said that methane emissions from ships using LNG fuel are higher than what current regulations say.

Methane is a very strong greenhouse gas. It holds in 80 times more heat than carbon dioxide in the atmosphere for 20 years. Reducing these gases is very important to help stop the earth from getting too warm.

Royal Caribbean claims that the Icon of the Seas is 24% better at using energy than what is needed for new ships, according to the International Maritime Organization. The company wants to make a ship that doesn’t create any pollution by 2035.

Lionel Messi, the captain of Argentina’s winning World Cup team, who plays for Inter Miami, was at the ship’s naming ceremony on Thursday. He put a football on a stand to break a champagne bottle for good luck.

The building of Icon of the Seas cost $2 billion or £1. 6 billion The resort has seven pools, six big slides, and over 40 places to eat and drink.

  • Police chief of Miami hospitalized after shooting himself

Police chief of Miami hospitalized after shooting himself

On Sunday, the director of the Miami-Dade Police Department committed suicide and was later brought to the hospital.

Alfredo Ramirez, the chief of the largest police department in the Southeast of the United States, shot himself on Monday, leaving him “severely injured,” according to the authorities.

Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava stated that Ramirez sustained a “critical injury in Tampa” on Sunday night and that he was still in a “critical but stable condition” on Monday.

According to the mayor, “Chairman Ramirez’s safety is all that matters right now.”

Ramirez attended the annual Sheriff’s Summer Conference of the Florida Sheriff’s Association in Tampa.

Ramirez committed suicide after engaging in a “domestic dispute,” according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, which oversees the Tampa Bay metropolitan area.

On I-75, which connects Tampa to Miami, the incident took place.

According to a report from Local 10 News, Ramirez’s wife Jody was in the car with him.

Witnesses reportedly spotted Ramirez arguing with his wife on Sunday night in front of the JW Marriott Hotel in Tampa, according to the local broadcaster. After witnessing the police chief put a gun in his mouth, the witnesses reportedly dialled 911.

The shooting is being looked into by the Florida Highway Patrol and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Ramirez underwent surgery, according to Miami-Dade Police’s confirmation on Monday afternoon.

‘We have confirmed that our Director Alfredo ‘Freddy’ Ramirez is now undergoing surgery for his injuries,’ the police department stated in a news statement on Monday.

The whole Miami-Dade Police Department is united in support of Freddy and begs that his neighbourhood continue to pray for him. We respectfully request that you respect the privacy of his immediate family and friends during this trying time.

In 1996, Ramirez enlisted in the police. In 2020, he was chosen to serve as the department’s chief, which has 1,000 other employees in addition to its 3,000 police officers.

He said he would run for Miami-Dade County Sheriff in 2024 earlier this year.

  • ‘I hadn’t had a chance to go through all the boxes’ – Trump tells court hearing classified documents case

‘I hadn’t had a chance to go through all the boxes’ – Trump tells court hearing classified documents case

Former US president, Donald Trump, has entered a plea of not guilty to longstanding accusations of mishandling sensitive files during a hearing at a federal court in Miami, Florida.

This marks the first time a federal criminal indictment has been filed against a sitting or former US president.

During the court proceedings, Trump maintained a stern and composed demeanor, crossing his arms while dressed in a dark suit and red tie. This court appearance is his second this year.

Following the hearing, the Republican politician made his way to his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, where he addressed his supporters.

Against a backdrop of American flags, Mr Trump, who is the frontrunner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, struck a defiant tone and told the assembled crowd he had “every right” to hold the classified documents, but “hadn’t had a chance to go through all the boxes”.

He said he followed the law and went on to list series of unsubstantiated claims as well as grievances against President Joe Biden and his former rival Hillary Clinton.

Earlier in the day before leaving Miami, Mr Trump, on his social media platform Truth Social, thanked the city for “such a warm welcome on such a sad day for our country”.

Just hours before, in a 13th-floor room of a federal courthouse in downtown Miami, a sombre, subdued Mr Trump looked on while his lawyer entered a plea of not guilty on 37 counts of illegally retaining classified documents and obstructing the government’s efforts to get them back.

“We most certainly enter a plea of not guilty,” the attorney, Todd Blanche, told the judge.

Accompanying the former president, Mr. Walt Nauta, a close aide charged with six criminal counts, sat at the same table during the court proceedings.

On the other side of the courtroom, the entire prosecution team, including special counsel Jack Smith, who announced the indictment last week, were present.

Despite turning 77 on Wednesday, Mr. Trump was granted unrestricted domestic and international travel privileges by Magistrate Judge Jonathan Goodman, as prosecutors did not consider him a flight risk.

However, the former president is prohibited from discussing the case with Mr. Nauta.

After the hearing, Mr. Trump expressed a thumbs-up gesture to his supporters as his motorcade departed from the courthouse. In one mildly chaotic moment of an otherwise peaceful day, a protester dressed in a prison jumpsuit briefly interrupted the motorcade’s path before being swiftly moved away by security personnel.

Mr. Trump and his security detail subsequently headed to Versailles, a popular Cuban restaurant located in Miami’s Little Havana, where a crowd of supporters awaited him. Many lined up to take photos with the former president, and he appeared to participate in a prayer with some patrons. The visit coincided with a rendition of “Happy Birthday to You” sung in his honor.

Before the hearing, court officials said Mr Trump would not have a mugshot taken but would be digitally fingerprinted and asked to submit a DNA sample by swab.

A trial date has not yet been set, though the case is still earmarked for Aileen Cannon, a federal district judge in South Florida who was appointed by Mr Trump.

‘As far as what led up to this altercation that resulted in the shots being fired, that’s still under investigation at this time,’ Denver Police spokesperson Doug Schepman said.

He also said the incident was possibly related to the game and festivities. ‘It did occur in the area where we had largest gathering of folks celebrating during the night.’

At least ten people were wounded during in the shooting, including three that were hospitalized in critical condition.

The remaining seven people had non-life-threatening injuries, police said. This total included the suspected shooter, who also sustained a gunshot wound.

The suspected shooter is currently in police custody. They have not yet been identified or charged with a crime.

Denver Police said the incident required a ‘complex, ongoing investigation,’ which is only in its early stages.

The Nuggets beat the Miami Heat in a hard-fought Game 5 of the NBA Finals. In the last few minutes, Denver pulled ahead for a 94-89 victory.

Nuggets star center Nikola Jokic was awarded the Bill Russell Trophy and named the Finals’ most valuable player after becoming the first in history to lead the league in points, rebounds, and assists in a single postseason.

The city is scheduled to hold a parade for the Nuggets on Thursday. It is unclear if Tuesday’s shooting will have any effect on the celebration.

NBA Playoffs: Miami Heat advance after Los Angeles Lakers eliminate Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors were defeated by an energized LeBron James, who also advanced the Los Angeles Lakers to the Western Conference finals.

The 38-year-old scored 30 points as the Lakers won 122-101 in Los Angeles to clinch the best-of-seven series 4-2.

The Lakers, who finished seventh in the regular season, will play top seeds the Denver Nuggets in the series to decide who plays in the NBA Finals.

The Miami Heat beat the New York Knicks to reach the Eastern Conference finals.

Jimmy Buttler scored 24 points and eight rebounds as the Heat won 96-92 in Florida to take the series 4-2 and become the first eighth seed in 24 years to reach the Conference finals.

They will play the Boston Celtics or the Philadelphia 76ers, who are tied at 3-3 and play their decisive seventh game on Sunday.

Lakers extend season that started slowly

The Lakers made their worst start to a regular season for 65 years but remain in contention for a 20th Conference title and 18th championship win after closing out a big win over a Golden State Warriors side that has won four of the past eight NBA titles.

They were undone by James’ masterful performance in California, with the NBA’s leading all-time points scorer and four-time NBA champion making nine assists and nine rebounds to go with his 30 points.

Anthony Davis, playing despite a head injury from game five, chalked up 17 points and 20 rebounds, as the Lakers romped to victory.

After the game James embraced Warriors star Stephen Curry, who scored 32 points in defeat.

“Not many of our team have been in close-out games,” James said.

“So after game five up [a 121-106 defeat on Wednesday], I knew I had to come in with a lot of aggression but be efficient and strategic in how I played this game.”

Rick Ross awards scholarships to high school students

American rapper Rick Ross and Rolling Loud co-founder Tariq Cherif have presented to eight students of Miami high school with a scholarship worth $10,000.

In honor of Boss Up Day 2023, Carol City Senior High School alumnus Rozay visited his former haunts earlier this week, much to the delight of the students.

“It’s a beautiful thing to be rocking with the Vikings, the Chiefs out here,” Ross told Local10. “Better believe it.”

One student named De’Zyre Frederick who received a scholarship added: “[Ross] being an alumnus and then coming back and giving back is something that everyone should do once they go off and do something successful.”

The eight students who displayed academic excellence were presented with scholarship checks that will go toward their college tuition and free tickets to Rolling Loud Miami in July. “It’s not a gift,” Cherif said. “They earned it.” Ross added: “You know, to come give back to the community right here, that means a lot. You know what I mean.”

At one point during the ceremony, a student was being honoured for her outstanding 4.6 GPA and Ross went the extra distance and gave her a few extra $100 bills straight out of his pocket and some motivational words of wisdom to go along with the cash for the brilliant teen.

  • Two people are killed in Chile’s thwarted $32.5 million airport robbery

Two people are killed in Chile’s thwarted $32.5 million airport robbery

Following the report by officials, two people were killed in a multimillion dollar theft that was thwarted at Chile’s busiest airport.

The Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport in Santiago is the scene of a gunfight between robbers and representatives of Chile’s DGAC aviation agency, according to video that has been extensively posted on social media.

The “attack” claimed the lives of a DGAC airport security guard and one of the robbers, according to chief prosecutor Eduardo Baeza on Wednesday.
That occurred around 7:30 a.m. local time (5:50 a.m. ET).

The investigation into the attempted robbery is ongoing, said Baeza.

Officials said around 10 people broke into the airport in three or four trucks, targeting an armored vehicle carrying a “valued load” from a LATAM Airlines plane.

The plane, which had arrived from Miami, was carrying $32.5 million to be transported locally by security provider Brinks.

Speaking to reporters from the La Moneda presidential palace in Santiago, deputy interior minister Manuel Monsalve said security officials had “foiled a robbery by a highly organized, highly armed and probably very well-planned robbery.”

Raul Jorquera, general director of the DGAC, told reporters that no passengers were at risk during the encounter, and that the robbers had “high capacity firepower” to steal the money.

Organized crime in Chile has spiked in recent years, including elaborate train heists and multimillion-dollar robberies at the country’s main seaport.

  • 6ix9ine reportedly banned from Luxury apartment building in Miami

6ix9ine has been banned from a luxury apartment complex in the Miami area, at least according to a new report.

TMZ, citing sources “familiar” with the situation, said on Tuesday that 6ix9ine has been barred from the SLS Lux Property-owned facility in question due to the behavior of his armed security detail. As the report explains, 6ix9ine is alleged to typically stay with YouTube personality SteveWillDoIt when he’s in the area. However, the SLS Lux Property legal team is alleged to have recently sent him a letter outlining why 6ix9ine is no longer welcome on the property.

According to the report, the letter states that a guard working for 6ix9ine at one point left “his assault weapon unattended on his bag” on the property. Additionally, the letter is said to highlight how 6ix9ine’s current situation (namely “provocative antics” and what they say is “the bounty placed on 6ix9ine’s life”) could equate to an unsafe environment for all involved.

Complex has reached out to SLS Lux, as well as to a rep for 6ix9ine, for comment. This story may be updated.

6ix9ine has remained in and out of headlines since being released from prison in 2020 following a widely discussed Nine Trey court case in which he ultimately pleaded guilty and cooperated with prosecutors, as discussed at length in Shawn Setaro’s book Dummy Boy.

In October, court documents revealed that a lawyer had claimed 6ix9ine owed his firm “approximately $400,00 in unpaid legal fees” in connection with separate cases. Weeks earlier, 6ix9ine publicly addressed claims that he was attacked at a nightclub in Dubai, criticizing the presentation of the story in question as “fake news.”

  • Odell Beckham Jr. escorted off flight after drifting in and out of consciousness

Odell Beckham Jr. was escorted off a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday morning.

According to FOX Sports Radio’s Andy Slater, the free agent wide receiver was escorted the plane because he was in and out of consciousness.

Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network obtained a police report stating that the “flight crew was concerned for (Beckham)” while “fearing that (he) was seriously ill” after “they tried to wake him to fasten his seat belt (and) he appeared to be coming in and out of consciousness.”

Beckham allegedly refused to leave the plane. His refusal forced the plane to be emptied and the flight to be delayed.

Shortly after the news broke, Beckham appeared to address the situation in a tweet that read, “Never in my life have I experienced what just happened to me. I’ve seen it all.”

“I could never make this up,” OBJ added in another tweet, before referring to the incident as “comedy hour.”

The news arrives just two weeks after OBJ filed a lawsuit against Nike, saying the Oregon-based conglomerate “screwed him out of millions.”

  • Lady Gaga delivers tearful message after lightning halts Miami show

Lady Gaga had only six songs remaining when she was forced to abruptly end her performance in Miami on Saturday night due to inclement weather, according to People.

Before leaving the stage, Gaga explained that the decision to suspend the remainder of her set was out of abundance of caution for the concertgoers, as well as everyone on her team.

TMZ reports lightning in the area was what ultimately convinced Gaga to cut her show at Miami Hard Rock Stadium short, an unfortunate conclusion on the final stop of The Chromatica Ball Summer Stadium Tour.

A tearful Gaga posted a video message on Instagram where she apologized for halting the show while also opening up about the regret she would have carried, if she chose to push through to the end. “I’ve always wanted to be like that hardcore, bad bitch, but what I really want is to also be responsible and loving and I don’t know what I would do if anything happened to anybody in the audience or to any member of my crew, my band, my dancers,” she said.
