MzGee apologizes to Mr Logic following their live altercation

Media personality and show host of United Showbiz on UTV, MzGee, has apologized to producer and artiste manager Mr Logic after the two clashed on live television.

In an earlier episode of the show on August 12, 2023, Mr Logic’s submission was cut short by MzGee, who asked him to round up because viewers were yawning. This sparked a backlash from Mr. Logic and a heated exchange of words between the two.

In a subsequent interview, Mr Logic addressed the incident and asserted that he had done nothing wrong to upset MzGee and that she had been disrespecting him ever since she took over as the show is host.

MzGee apologized to Mr Logic on Saturday, August 19, saying that she did not intend for her actions to be disrespectful to him.

“Last week, I was told I hadn’t apologized properly, so I’m here to offer a proper apology to you, what I said last week offended you, I am sorry, it wasn’t what I meant. I am very sorry,” she apologized

In response, Mr Logic accepted her apology, saying she was like a ‘sister’ to him and there was no bad blood between them.

I feel Mzgee has some ill feelings towards me – Mr Logic

Mr. Logic, has shared his perspective on the controversy that erupted on Saturday, August 13, 2023, on the United Showbiz programme on UTV.

Mr. Logic said he felt humiliated and disrespected when Mzz Gee interrupted his submission when he was telling his side of the story to Fifi Pratt on Kingdom 107.7 FM. He continued by saying that although he does not remember doing anything to offend Mzgee, he believes she harbours some negative feelings towards him.

“I don’t know what I have done to Mz Gee, but sitting in the seat as a panelist, lots of people have been asking me if I had done anything to offend her. This is not the first time something like this has happened. I don’t remember doing anything to her. I remember when she was with media general, she used to call me to panel her show on short notice. I never saw any such disrespect from her. It was when she got to UTV that I started noticing certain behaviours towards me,” he said.

He admitted that he was debating whether to report her to Father Dickson, who served as both her mentor and the executive producer of the United Showbiz programme, but ultimately decided to let sleeping dogs lie and move on.

“She said sorry to me and I said sorry to her. I have taken the matter off my mind. I have let go because these things happen, I am not angry at her, I was just not happy with her.
