  • NDC plans to kidnap and kill diplomats to make government unpopular – Kennedy Agyapong alleges

The protesters in their petition, want the NPP to “hold an open and transparent vetting for the general public to be present. We are currently not aware of any by-laws that dictate any private and closed-door vetting”.

They questioned “…what authority does Hon. Kennedy Agyapong stands on, for which he can influence the disqualification of another aspirant, Mr Eric Baidoo, when he is not part of the vetting committee, but he himself is a candidate”.

  • Stop preventing people from contesting incumbent MPs Ken Agyapong warns Wontumi, others

Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has asked officials of the governing NPP in the Ashanti Region to desist from preventing people from contesting incumbent Members of Parliament.

According to him, the party needs a succession plan and therefore preventing people from contesting incumbent lawmakers will not augur well for the party.

He indicated that as a party that claims to uphold democracy, preventing people from contesting is in contravention with the principles of the party.

The lawmaker, however, mentioned that he is against people who do not work for the party but come back after four years and want to be voted into power.

He noted that such people are a threat to the party and there is the need to do away with them by disqualifying them.

Speaking on indispensable lawmakers like Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Kennedy indicated that such a brain cannot be made to leave Parliament because of his rich experience.

He said such persons should be allowed to be contested but party officials can adopt some “mafia” tactics” so he can win over his contenders.

  • Police found sperms in J.B. Danquah Adus boxers after his death – Kennedy Agyapong reveals

After the death of the former Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu, there have been various accounts of how he was killed and many have linked individuals within his party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to his murder.

One individual whose name has been mentioned by many is the MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong. The Legislator has also come out to deny these allegations levelled against but has given a different twist to the whole case based on video footages captured by CCTV cameras close to the MPs residence.

According to Mr Agyapong, the police found traces of semen in the boxer shorts late MPs wore to bed the night he was murdered.

He said, the CCTV video footage indicated that the late MP was stabbed 15 times and might have released sperms into his shorts.

“There are two theories to this, either the robbers pounced on the MP and he was startled or the MP was having sex with a lady, hence the sperms in his boxer shorts,” he explained.

Mr Agyapong later accused the ruling New Patriotic Party of doing a disservice to the memory of the late MP because he was called to the office of the National Security which is close to the Conference Center to shut him up.

“I was told by the National Security officials to shut up for the information I am bringing out is very dangerous but they are doing their own investigations and bringing the case to a logical conclusion…..This is one and a half years and you guys have not done anything,” he fumed.

The late Abuakwa North MP, J.B. Danquah Adu, was stabbed to death at his residence in Accra on February 9, 2016.

Police investigations have led to the arrest Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bossu who are currently standing trial in court.
