Keep Justin Bieber, wife in prayers – Father

Pop artist and wife, Justin Bieber and Hailey have been the center of attention following their public appearance after a church service.

Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin, called for prayers after Hailey Bieber, 27, and her husband Justin Bieber, 29, were spotted heading to a church service in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

The celebrity couple, celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary, were photographed arriving in their new $90,000 Tesla Cybertruck.

Hailey, dressed in a vibrant yellow argyle sweater and baggy jeans, appeared sombre, while Justin’s face remained largely concealed under the hood of his oversized black sweatshirt.

The couple, known for their devout Christian faith, often credits their fate for helping them navigate the challenges of their initial year of marriage.

On Monday, Stephen Baldwin raised eyebrows by sharing a video of Justin singing and urging Christians to pray for the couple’s wisdom, protection, and closeness to the Lord.

The 58-year-old evangelist, mentioning joint prayers by his wife and Hailey’s mother, highlighted the unique challenges faced by those in the public eye, emphasising the spiritual warfare they endure.

“Christians please when you take time to pray, pay for Justin and wife Hailey to get closer to God,” Hailey’s father stated.
Although the post by Victor Marx, founder of All Things Possible Ministries, has been deleted, it brought attention to concerns for the couple.

However, Hailey and Justin put on a united front during Wednesday’s nighttime church service.

Hailey sported yellow-tinted glasses and carried a large black purse, while Justin, with his hood up and a black scarf covering his face, walked alongside her as they approached the church’s entrance.

‘I want kids with Justin Bieber so bad, but I have my worries’ – Hailey Bieber confesses

Hailey Bieber, the stunning model and wife of Justin Bieber, recently spilled the beans in an interview with The Sunday Times about her burning desire to start a family. She admitted, with a touch of vulnerability, that the thought of having children brings her to tears on a regular basis.

“I want kids so bad, but I have my worries,” the 26-year-old confessed. “Dealing with people’s opinions about my husband or friends is challenging enough. I can’t fathom having to defend my child against hurtful remarks,” she added.

However, Hailey remains optimistic about parenting, stating, “We’ll do everything we can to raise them right, ensuring they feel loved and protected.”

The romance between the founder of Rhode and the Grammy-winning artist began in 2009, but it wasn’t until 2016 that they confirmed their relationship, putting an end to the speculations. Two months after their engagement, the pair quietly exchanged vows at a New York City courthouse in September 2018.

Just three months into their marriage, Hailey expressed her eagerness to have children in an interview with Vogue Arabia, eagerly anticipating the day she could call someone her own. She even hinted that starting a family was becoming a “closer reality.”

Justin, known for his hit song “Peaches,” also showcased his baby fever in a heartfelt Instagram tribute to his wife in November 2019. In his post, he gushed, “The way you live your life is so attractive… ps you turn me on in every way. Next season: BABIES.” However, Hailey had a change of heart, realizing that she is still young and has plenty of time before diving into parenthood.

Reflecting on her shift in perspective, Hailey shared, “I had this idea ingrained in my mind that I should have kids right away and at a very young age. But then I turned 25, and I thought, ‘Hey, I’m still super, super young!’”

While Justin has expressed his willingness to have as many children as Hailey desires, he fully supports her decision to focus on personal goals before embracing motherhood. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he lovingly said, “Hailey still has things she wants to achieve as a woman, and she’s not ready just yet. And that’s perfectly fine.”

Justin Bieber has cancelled the remaining dates of his Justice world tour, following health issues.

He said in September 2022 that he wanted to make his “health a priority”.

The tour’s official Twitter page posted on Tuesday that ticket holders would receive a refund.

The singer had been due to play shows in the US, Australia and Europe, including a date in Manchester this Saturday (4 March).

However, some of Bieber’s fans have previously expressed their dismay about not receiving refunds for scrapped dates on the tour, which has reportedly grossed $55m (£46m).

The Grammy-winning Canadian artist’s last album, featuring the likes of Burna Boy, Chance the Rapper and Khalid, brought him more success, reaching number one in the US and number two in the UK chart in April 2021.

But he has since said that shows in Europe had “taken a real toll on me” and that he needs more time to “rest and get better”.

RHS is when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near someone’s ears, resulting in paralysis of parts of the face.

It cannot be passed from one person to another, but it is a complication from Shingles, which is linked to the chickenpox virus that many people can get when they’re children.

According to the charity Facial Palsy UK, if the immune system becomes depressed and is less able to fight off infection, the body can become vulnerable to a reactivation of the chickenpox virus.

It says stress is often a trigger as it can weaken the immune system, and people who are stressed are more likely to suffer from infections.

  • Justin Bieber sells rights to songs for $200m

Justin Bieber sells rights to songs for $200m

Justin Bieber has sold his share of the rights to his music to Hipgnosis Songs Capital for a reported $200m (£162m).

The firm now owns the pop star’s stake in some of the biggest hits of recent years, including Baby and Sorry.

Bieber, one of the best-selling artists of the 21st Century, joins a growing group of artists who have cashed out on their catalogues.

The move means Hipgnosis will receive a payment every time a song they own part of is played in public.

The company – a $1bn venture between financial giant Blackstone and the British Hipgnosis Song Management – acquired Bieber’s publishing copyrights to his 290-song back catalogue.

That includes all of his music released before 31 December 2021 – and his writer’s share.

The star’s artist rights to his master recordings were also acquired in the deal.

Hipgnosis has not disclosed the terms of the deal, but a source told the news agency AFP it was worth around $200m.

Artists are increasingly selling stakes in their work to music funds – including Justin Timberlake and Shakira, who have also struck deals with Hipgnosis.

But the trend is more common among older artists. In the last two years, music legends Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen both sold back catalogue rights to Sony.

Springsteen received a reported $500m (£376m) for the sale of his life’s work.

The Hipgnosis Songs Fund is building up a catalogue of hit songs and inviting big institutional investors to share in the proceeds.

The fund floated on the London Stock Exchange in 2018.

The man who founded it, Merck Mercuriadis, previously said hit songs can be “more valuable than gold or oil”.

He said Bieber’s music was “arguably the definitive soundtrack of the streaming revolution”, with 13 songs that have each achieved more than a billion streams on platforms like YouTube and Spotify.

As his audience are still relatively young, he added, royalties will continue to pour in for “60 or 70 years”.

“The beautiful thing about music is that when these songs become hits, they become part of the fabric of our lives and they live on forever,” Mercuriadis told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme.

However, the company’s share price has fallen by more than 27% since this time last year, as investor interest waned.

In December, Mercuriadis called the share price situation a “disappointment”, but said he believed in the company’s long-term profitability.

“In the wider music market, people continue to listen to and pay for music irrespective of today’s cost of living challenges with annual audio streams in the US passing the one trillion mark for the first time,” he said.

“These are all exciting indicators for the further growth that we will experience as income flows through the collection process into Hipgnosis.”

The company’s share price rose by 1.6% after the Justin Bieber deal was announced.

  • Selena Gomez addresses those viral photos with Hailey Bieber

Selena Gomez doesn’t see what all the fuss is about.

The 30-year-old singer/actress caused a bit of a stir last month when she snapped a few photos with Hailey Bieber. The reunion went down during the second annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, just weeks after Hailey denied claims she had “stole” her now-husband, Justin Bieber, from Selena.

The Rare artist briefly addressed the photos—taken by Tyrell Hampton—during a recent interview with Vulture, insisting the moment didn’t warrant a strong reaction.

“Yeah, it’s not a big deal,” she said. “It’s not even a thing.”

Some have speculated there was bad blood between the young stars, as they’ve both been romantically involved with Justin. Selena reportedly started seeing the pop star in 2010, and had an on-again, off-again relationship until 2018. Shortly after Selena and Justin called it quits, he and Hailey announced their engagement, sparking rumors that the Justice artist had cheated on Selena with his new fiancée.

“It’s not my character to mess with someone’s relationship,” Hailey said during an interview on Call Her Daddy. “I would just never do that. I was raised better than that,” the 25-year-old model said. “Like, I can say, period, point-blank, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody. That’s the end of it, and I had been involved with him since I was 18.”

Hailey went on to say that she and Selena were on good terms and had talked since her and Justin’s 2018 wedding.

“So, that’s why I’m like, it’s all respect, it’s all love,” Hailey said.

“That’s also why I feel like if everybody on our side knows what happened and we’re good and we could walk away from it with clarity and respect, then that’s fine. Which had brought me a lot of peace and I’m like, ‘Hey, we know what happened.’”

  • Justin Bieber reportedly to distance himself from Kanye West after attacking wife Hailey

Justin Bieber reportedly plans to distance himself from Kanye West after the latter made comments about the former’s wife Hailey Bieber.

Earlier this week, Kanye took to social media to allege that Hailey had previous relations with Drake. From there, Ye ripped the model for getting a nose job, which she denies, writing, “They want corny ass Gigi Hadid and nose job Hailey Baldloose to rally behind an obvious Corey Gamble level nonfashion industry plant.”

Ye then targeted Justin, saying, “Get your girl before I get mad. You spose to be my friend right.”

TMZ reports Bieber has had enough of Kanye’s antics.

“Sources close to Justin and Hailey tell us they’re obviously hurt by Kanye’s attacks – especially since they were there for him in 2020 when he was going through a tough time in his life,” the outlet wrote.

Insiders told TMZ that though Bieber has previously supported West, the Chicago rapper’s recent comments have convinced Justin that “this time, he’s gotta distance himself and stand up for his wife.”

The news arrives just days after Kanye Bieber’s spouse showed kindness to Gabriella Karefa-Johnson following West’s targeting of the Vogue global fashion editor at large. Bieber wrote on her IG Stories, “My respect for you runs deep my friend! to know you is to adore you and to work with you is an honor. the most kind. the most talented. the most fun. the most chic.”

  • Hailey Bieber addresses notion she ‘stole’ Justin Bieber from Selena Gomez

In a new episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Hailey Bieber addressed the notion that she “stole” Justin Bieber from Selena Gomez.

Per CNN, podcast host Alex Cooper asked Bieber about the theories that she was a “home-wrecker” who caused the end of Justin’s on-again off-again relationship with the Only Murders in the Building star. “No,” she said, stressing that when she and Justin first started seeing each other in 2018 he wasn’t in a relationship.

“When him and I ever started like hooking up or like anything of that sort, he was not ever in a relationship, ever at any point,” she said. “It’s not my character to mess with someone’s relationship. I would just never do that. I’m not interested in doing that and I never was.”

Hailey got engaged to Justin in 2018, and they married not long after. Prior to that, they dated briefly in late 2015 and early 2016. Justin was involved with Selena from 2010 to at least 2017.

Speaking on the podcast, Hailey said that she’s aware “how it looks from the outside” that she dated Justin before he and Selena called it quits for good, “but that was a situation where I know for a fact that it was the right thing for them to close that door.” When she dated the pop star, “They were not in a relationship at that time, but of course there’s a very long history there and it’s not my relationship.”

She added that she’s uncomfortable talking about the relationship between him and Selena, though, because she didn’t want to speak for either of them. Hailey added that she respects Selena, and has even spoken with her after marrying Justin. “That’s why I’m like, it’s all respect,” she said. “It’s all love.”

  • Justin Bieber to resume world tour after health battle

A rep for the “Peaches” singer, 28, told Variety that his Justice World Tour will resume on July 31 after several North American dates were canceled last month due to his recent Ramsay Hunt diagnosis.

Justin’s tour—which had 75 scheduled dates—will continue in Italy with a performance at the Lucca Summer Festival. He will then have five more dates in Europe before heading to South America in September. The tour will also have stops in South Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand before heading back to Europe in December.

In June, the two-time Grammy winner postponed his remaining North American tour dates after announcing that he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which occurs when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near one of your ears, according to Mayo Clinic. The illness can cause a painful shingles rash, facial paralysis and hearing damage in the affected ear.

“This is pretty serious as you can see,” Justin explained in a June 10 Instagram video. “I wish this wasn’t the case but obviously my body is telling me I have to slow down. I hope you guys understand and I’ll be using this time to just rest and relax and get back to 100 percent so I can do what I was born to do.”

  • Justin Bieber reveals facial paralysis after shows cancelled

Singer Justin Bieber has revealed he is suffering from facial paralysis after cancelling shows this week.

The 28-year-old said in an Instagram video that the condition is due to a diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

“As you can see, this eye is not blinking. I can’t smile on this side of my face… So there’s full paralysis on this side of my face,” he said.

Ramsay Hunt syndrome is when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near someone’s ears, say medical experts.

Earlier this week, Bieber’s Justice World Tour – which began in February – announced three shows would be postponed.

“It is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis,” the Canada-born singer said in the three-minute video, indicating the right side of his face.

He asked for his fans to be patient, and said of his forthcoming shows that he is “physically, obviously, not capable of doing them”.

He also smiled and blinked, showing his 240 million followers how the right side of his face did not move.

“This is pretty serious, as you can see. I wish this wasn’t the case, but, obviously, my body’s telling me I’ve got to slow down,” he said. “I hope you guys understand. I’ll be using this time to just rest and relax and get back to a hundred percent so that I can do what I was born to do.”

Bieber added that he has been doing facial exercises to “get back to normal”, but that he does not know how long it will take to recover.

He had been due to play in Washington DC and Toronto earlier this week, with concerts also planned in New York and Los Angeles in the coming weeks.

Bieber and wife Hailey on the red carpet

According to the Mayo Clinic in the US: “In addition to the painful shingles rash, Ramsay Hunt syndrome can cause facial paralysis and hearing loss in the affected ear.”

The Mayo Clinic says that for most people, the symptoms of Ramsay Hunt syndrome are temporary, but can become permanent.

The inability for patients to close one eyelid can also cause eye pain and blurred vision, the organisation says, adding that it is most common in people over 60 years old.

In March, the singer’s wife, Hailey Bieber, was admitted to hospital due to a blood clot in her brain.

She later said she had suffered a stroke and had undergone surgery to close a hole in her heart.

  • Feud erupts over Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s US chart position

Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber have defended themselves after rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine accused them of buying the number one spot on the US chart.

The rapper claimed the pop stars had bought tens of thousands of copies of their charity single Stuck With U to boost its position.

He also said some streams of his song Gooba were improperly discounted, leaving it in third place on the chart.

Grande, Bieber and chart compilers Billboard have all denied the claims.

Bieber called the rapper’s accusations “a lie”, while Grande advised him to “take a moment to humble yourself”.

Billboard posted a lengthy article refuting each of his points while explaining how the chart positions were calculated.

“Overall, Stuck With U drew 28.1 million US streams, 26.3 million in radio airplay audience and 108,000 sold in the tracking week,” it explained.

“Gooba had 55.3 million US streams, 172,000 in radio airplay audience and 24,000 sold.

“Those sums resulted in the songs’ respective rankings on this week’s Hot 100.”
