“The things that trend on GH Twitter scare me sometimes. I can’t imagine that in the face of economic ruin; of such public debt which mortgages away our collective future, the (elite) youth of Ghana are so fixated on Hajia Bintu and who is peddling for girl’s charms. Hmmm!

Why Hajia Bintu is being berated on Twitter:
Hajia Bintu on April 12, 2023 was captured in the viral video promoting ‘Kayamata’ products, a substance mainly used by women to charm men and extort money from their sexual partners.
Testifying the goodness of the so-called powerful product, she explained that any woman who purchases them will automatically be gifted large sums of money by any man she comes in contact with whether through sexual intercourse or just a handshake.
She added that male sponsors or as she puts it ‘Papa No’ who prove stubborn when asked for money will succumb to a woman who uses the said product.
Bintu listed them as: “Fuck & Stay, Attraction To Rich Men, Love & Pay, Love Me Alone, and Do As I Say.”
Social media users including influencers and women have condemned the move by Hajia Bintu who they claim is leading many astray.
She has since apologized, saying that she and her management team were negligent in promoting the particular brand.
Kayamata are potions and herbs believed to have the tendency of nailing a man or woman down after a sexual encounter. Patronizers claim it has saved their relationships and helped them deal with partners who are stingy.
After the use of these products, one’s victim is quick to ‘do as their partner says’.
TikTok influencer, Hajia Bintu has since attracted numerous backlashes from the public including Us-based Ghanaian Economist, Dr. Sa-ad Iddrisu after a viral video of herself promoting love charms or “Kayamata” to extort money from sexual partners.
Dr. Sa-ad Iddrisu has condemned the act and described women who indulge in that with low self-esteem.
He believes a confident woman does not need love charms to stay attracted to men or be gifted money.
In a post on social media, Dr. Iddrisu says “Low self-esteem women are those who need love charms to tie a man down. You can make a man love you without a single charm. Well, unless you are using men as a business to make money. In that case, you would definitely need thousands of love charms.”
Expressing disappointment in the TikTok star of her recent stands describing women as a sex symbol and now advertising love charms such as “Do As I Say, Love Me Alone, Love & Pay, etc. while calling on the feminine society to call her to order.
Dr. Iddrisu also advised young ladies to be vigilant and not allow themselves to be brainwashed. “Young Ladies, don’t be brainwashed by social media advertisements. The advertisers themselves hardly use the products they advertise on their pages”

The video got many Ghanaians angry about the harm such products can cause to unsuspecting victims.
They descended on her heavily for seeking her own parochial interest without taking into consideration the harm the product can cause to others.
She has finally come out to apologize for what she described as an ‘out of line’ advert. Miss Bintu claimed she promotes products for various brands but erred by promoting an attraction spell.
She admitted that, she and hermanagement were negligent in assessing the effects of marketing the said product.

She described one of the medicines as “fuck and stay,” which must be applied around the abdomen. She added that whenever a man has a sexual encounter with any woman who uses it, he will stay.
Another medicine she introduced was “Attraction to Men”. According to her, when it is applied to the forehead, every lady will become irresistible to all the big men and will get whatever she asks for
Hajia Bintu also introduced “Love and Stay” and “Do As I Say,” which are all products ladies can use to manipulate men and get whatever they need from them.
Social media users who have come across the video have expressed their complete disappointment in the socialite who once claimed that she works hard to finance her lucueous lifestyle.

Testifying to the goodness of the so-called powerful Kayamata product, she explained that any woman who purchases them will automatically be gifted large sums of money by any man she comes into contact with, whether through sexual intercourse or just a handshake.
Palago, who has expressed his disappointment in the TikTok influencer, wondered about the motivation behind the advertisement. Together with others, he believes that the move was in bad taste.
“I am upset by that viral video. Hajia Bintu, you must be ashamed of yourself for advertising a product that women can use to charm men. These products help women to command and attract men,” he announced in a self-recorded video shared on Twitter.
The self-acclaimed youth president added that love potions used by women to attract men should not be endorsed by personalities with huge social media followings, considering the influence they have on young men and women in the country.
“What are you teaching these young ladies, are you really okay?…Hajia Bintu you are not in a position to advertise those drugs. You are not living by example and how do you expect us to have prominent future ladies in Ghana? You better behave,” he cautioned.
Meanwhile, Hajia Bintu has topped Twitter trends, with many questioning her wealth. Some concerned Ghanaians have encouraged authorities to ban such advertisements by celebrities.
Social media influencer, Naomi Asiamah, popularly known as ‘Hajia Bintu‘, has disclosed that at a point in her life, she was nurtured in a mission house.
Recounting her childhood memories in an interview with Delay, Hajia Bintu said she once lived in a manse, under the care of a certain pastor and his wife in Kumasi.
This according to her, was immediately after she left Adansi Fomena, where she lived with her grandmother until about age 9.
Bintu, who said her mother had travelled to Accra to start a family after her father had gone missing for a long time said,
“A methodist pastor and his family once came to our village. His wife was so fond of me, she liked me very much. So, when they were going to Kumasi, they took me along. I grew up in a mission house. I stayed there since I was 9 years old until about 13 years. We lived in Sepe Brokuom until the man retired. At that time, his wife was a lecturer at KNUST so we stayed on campus for a while.”
When asked why she did not spend most of her childhood days with her biological mother, Hajia Bintu replied,
“I don’t know. But I later lived with my mother when I turned 14.”
Ghanaian social media influencer, Hajia Bintu, who gained popularity for her curvy physique and dance videos, has made a statement regarding a song composed by popular Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale, which featured her name.
Speaking on The Delay Show, Bintu disclosed that she had no prior knowledge of the song, and Shatta Wale did not inform her before using her name in his lyrics.
According to Bintu, she had met Shatta Wale on a few occasions, but they were not close friends.
“Shatta Wale didn’t tell me before using my name to compose a song. I have met Shatta Wale before, but he wasn’t my friend,” she said.
Bintu also addressed rumours that she had a romantic relationship with Shatta Wale, stating that the claims were false.
She maintained that she did not have any intimate relationship with the musician and that they were only acquaintances.
Shatta Wale’s song, titled “Hajia Bintu” features the influencer’s name repeatedly in its lyrics and has gained massive popularity in Ghana and beyond.
The song’s catchy beat and Shatta Wale’s rap lyrics have made it a fan favourite, with many fans creating dance videos inspired by the song.
Her video with Don Jazzy in Nigeria in 2022 went viral with some wondering how the Ghanaian socialite met the Nigerian music executive.
The Ghanaian influencer, known in private life as Naomi Asiamah, was clad in red and was spotted dancing with Don Jazzy as Ghana’s FBS music that featured Mr. Drew was heard in the background.
Speaking on The Delay Show aired on April 2, 2022, Hajia Bintu disclosed that Don Jazzy first sent her a directed message via Instagram, leading to their meeting.
“He’s my friend. I met him on Instagram. He DMed me,” said Hajia Bintu.
Having established a relationship with Don Jazzy, she visited the business mogul when she went to Nigeria. According to her, the short video which captured both having a good time was shot when she was in Nigeria for a shoot.
“I went to Nigeria on the invitation of Mr Macaroni for a skit. After that, I went to see Don Jazzy,” said Hajia Bintu.
Meanwhile, she has addressed concerns that she bought a Benz after meeting Don Jazzy.
“I saved the money I earned from social media influencing, and whenever I received more deals, I put the extra money aside. One can accumulate enough savings from these deals to purchase a car,” she stated.
“Whenever I post instant ads on Snapchat, I typically spend around 500 cedis, and I can post between five to ten ads per day. If you imagine how much that adds up to in a week or a month, it’s a significant amount,” she added.
“I presently own the Mercedes-Benz. I swapped my Jaguar for it,” she revealed to Deloris Frimpong Manso.
Hajia Bintu admitted to pushing a narrative about her buttocks having flooded social media platforms with pictures that had her flaunting her behind.
She, however, denied undergoing a procedure to enlarge her butts as she stated emphatically that such features come with growth.
“As you grow, the body also does,” the socialite said on The Delay Show while refuting claims she used to be skinny. “If you take a look at my old pictures, I wasn’t skinny.”
“You had some curves but they weren’t humongous as they are now. Now you have a huge butt,” Deloris Frimpong Manso, host of the show posited.
Reiterating that her body is natural, Hajia Bintu laughed. She mentioned that her poses could be a reason her butts look big in pictures, saying “maybe when I was young, I didn’t know angles but now, I know”.
Born Naomi Asiamah, the socialite shot to fame after her pictures went viral on social media. The name ‘Bintu’, according to her, was given to her by a male friend in 2018.
“I used to be a waitress at Peduase. So, when he walked in, he saw me and said ‘you’re so beautiful. I would have called you Bintu if you were my wife’. I liked the name so I added ‘Hajia’ to it because I can’t call myself Bintu,” she said, stating that ‘Bintu’ means mother.
The recent episode of the Delay Show featured an interview with popular Ghanaian TikToker, Hajia Bintu.
Host of the show, Delay in her usual craftiness started her interview by seeking to know about the beginnings of the social media sensation.
Along the line, the issue of Hajia Bintu’s father was brought up by the host who queried her guest with the question “where was your father in the picture?”
After a big sigh and a little giggle Hajia Bintu retorted with an emphatic “yes” to if her father was not around while she was growing up.
Then came a back-and-forth of questions between the host and her guest about the subject of an absent father and the emotional effects she suffers.
Delay: He wasn’t present right?
Bintu: Yes
Delay: Have you met him before?
Bintu: No.
Delay: Your whole life?
Bintu: My whole life.
Delay: Have you heard his name before?
Bintu: No.. mmm, Okay, George.
Delay: Does your mom know where he is?
Bintu: No, not even my grandmother.
The 24-year-old went on to explain that she sometimes wishes to know why her father was not in the picture even though she has never met or seen his picture 0before.
She added that despite living with her father’s mother for a good part of her younger age, not even her grandmother could provide certain answers to the whereabouts her father.
When she was asked whether she cries about the absence of her father, the answer was about 20 long seconds of silence and big sighs followed by a request for the topic to be dropped.

Speaking during an interview on the Delay Show, the social media personality said every woman ought to see herself as a symbol of sex.
“I mean, every woman is a sex symbol… What I am trying to say is that as far as you are a woman you need to psyche yourself up that you are a sex symbol,” the 24-year-old stated.
According to Hajia Bintu, born as Naomi Asiamah, her curvy and heavy backside is all natural.
She denied claims that she has had her body artificially enhanced.
“I’ve not pumped my buttocks. I wasn’t skinny and I think it’s growth. Maybe when I was young I did not know of angles but now when I take pictures, I take them with the right angles that’s why you see things like that,” she said.

Ghanaian Tik Tok star, Hajia Bintu was not a happy person when a photo started making rounds on Twitter suggesting that she may have gone for liposuction over her Val’s day post.
Hajia Bintu rose to fame after her videos on Tik Tok went viral. In most of these videos, she is usually seen shaking her bum, flaunting her hips or showcasing how heavily endowed she is.
On the back of that, many have come to know and appreciate her to have a greatly endowed body devoid of surgical enhancement. Many believe her hips and bums are natural.
Well, when @_mmokob3 shared a photo that looked like Hajia Bintu had gone under the knife to improve the shape of her bum or to enhance the pelvic section of the lower part, she took great exception.
But actually, most curvy women have what we call cellulite…it is extra flesh or dotted part of their body usually found around their hips, butt or thighs.
Cellulite is the dimpled-looking skin that commonly occurs in the thigh region. It forms when fatty tissue deep in the skin pushes up against connective tissue. It’s estimated that more than 85 per cent of all women 21 years and older have cellulite.
Although cellulite can be removed surgically, most women prefer to keep it just like Hajia Bintu has done.
With the absence of that knowledge, Hajia Bintu replied vehemently by condemning the photo. Hajia Bintu intimated that nobody can bring her down hence the sharing of such a photo to dent her reputation and to suggest that she has gone for liposuction will not wash.
Netizens have reacted to a video of popular Ghanaian ‘Tik Tokers’, Felicia Osei and Hajia Bintu, captured in a tense atmosphere while sitting next to each other at an event.
Although it is unclear whether there is a hidden feud between the two, social media users claim to have spotted friction between them during the UTV Day with the Stars.
Hajia Bintu was captured in a pensive mood with her eyes fixed on the activities carried out on stage at that particular moment.
In the case of Felicia, she felt uncomfortable in her seat and also had all her attention on the stage.
At one point, she [Felicia] was seen rolling her eyes and giving side stares at her colleague.
While some have argued that they are not engaged in any feud whatsoever, others are insisting that they can ‘smell a rat.’
“Why do I sense an awkward moment between these two? I’m sure something isn’t right,” an individual reacted to the video which is making rounds on the internet.
“I think minding one’s business is the key. Now u can’t make friends because tomorrow you might be threatened with recordings and picture evidence here and there, so now this is the new remedy oooo,” said another.

Ghanaian socialite and Tiktok star Hajia Bintu reportedly acquired a brand new Mercedes Benz SUV just months after flaunting her first car, a jaguar.
Recall that after Hajia Bintu flaunted her Jaguar on the internet for the first time some months back, social media users strongly suggested that her Naija trip sponsored it.
This new car has sparked a new rumour on the internet about her alleged pimp activities.
According to some critics, since Hajia Bintu has no available 9-5 job or business, there’s no way the car was financed from her own pocket.
Comments under the video staunchly conclude that the car was financed by one of her numerous sugar daddies.
It’s not surprising many Ghanaians strongly believe the car was bought for Hajia Bintu by one of her numerous sugar daddies because all she does is Tiktok.
And as we all know, there’s no way she can afford this expensive car just with the gigs she gets from brands.
It can also be that Hajia Bintu only borrowed the car to flaunt on the internet as hers just to trend and make it into the news because it’s been a long time since she made it into the headlines.
Shatta Wale has revealed he is currently single but the cold weather that follows the rain makes him consider finding a partner.
He said this on Thursday, 6 October 2022, on Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana, hinted at the type of woman he wants, and explained his relationship with social media figure Hajia Bintu.
“I’m single,” he said in responds to if he is seeing anyone after his breakup with former fiancée Michy.
He also stressed his last romantic partner was “Shatta Michy” and after her, he has been with no one else.
Host of the programme, Paul Adom Otchere, inquired if he is searching for someone to be with.
“Sometimes when the rain falls, it’s very cold so…” the ‘On God’ hitmaker laughed and indicated the type of women he is interested in.
“I’m looking for somebody that is more inclined and you know…” he pointed to his head as if to demonstrate what he meant.
Earlier, he shared he talks to Michy “once in a while. You know I try to be a good dad to Majesty [a son they share].”
“I don’t go there [Michy’s house] but you know I buy her stuff, give her gifts,” the multiple award-winning Ghanaian artiste said.
Reacting to rumours that he was secretly involved with social media influencer Hajia Bintu, Shatta Wale said, “She broke my heart,” before sharply adding amid laughter, “I’m lying.”
“Hajia is like a girl that I think I gave her a few lessons about how she could carry her fame and I’m so proud of where she’s taking her steps to because she’s listened to me and she’s moving like somebody who is on social media and really wants to be like a role model and I love it,” the singer born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr clarified his relationship with Hajia Bintu.
According to him, Hajia Bintu is “dating” and “has a boyfriend, a serious boyfriend, a Ghanaian. A very serious, hardworking businessman.”
“I’ve not seen Hajia Bintu for like two years now. We talk, she calls me, sometimes we have to meet but I’ll be in America or elsewhere,” the singer and record producer shared and as a matter of fact, explained he has had nothing sexual to do with Ms Bintu.
“Her name even came into my song spiritually,” he concluded.
On Christmas Day in 2020, Shatta Wale released a song titled ‘Hajia Bintu’ which has in its official music video the social media personality it is named after.
