Emmanuel Kafui Dzamefe, a marketer, is optimistic about his chances of winning the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primary in the Ho Central Constituency, located in the Volta Region.
He believes that he is the leading candidate among the seven aspirants competing in the primary. Dzamefe attributes his confidence to his capabilities, life achievements, and other factors that set him apart from the other contenders.
“Among the seven of us, I will say boldly that I am the front-runner, I am peerless in terms of life achievement. If you profile all of us, I think that I am way ahead of the other contestants”, he said in an interview with Joy News at the election center in Ho.
He said he gained some experiences in the previous elections which he brought to play during his campaign and hopes it would lead him to victory.

Mr. Dzamefe who was an assembly member added that the delegates have assured of giving him the nod to represent the NDC in the 2024 parliamentary elections as he had served them well and deserved to be rewarded.
“It is my time, I have served them longest and so it is time for them to reward me appropriately and that is the feedback I am getting. It is wonderful”, he concluded.
The Ho Central Constituency in the Volta Region has attracted a diverse group of candidates for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primary.
Alongside Emmanuel Kafui Dzamefe, other aspirants include Raphael Korda, an engineer; Selorm Dey, a Chartered accountant and lawyer; and Kasu Delali Kofi, a former branch executive and teacher.
The remaining candidates in the race are Stanley Nelvis Kwasi Glate, a former Constituency Secretary and Lecturer at the Ho Technical University; Robert Kofi Doh, a medical doctor; and Edem Kofi Kpotosu, who serves as the Volta Regional Human Resource Manager for the Ghana Education Service.
Voting is currently underway at the Ola Senior High School assembly hall, where 2,270 delegates are expected to participate in selecting the NDC parliamentary candidate for Ho Central.
