At Devon, a toddler passed away under mysterious circumstances.
On Friday evening, emergency personnel flocked to the area close to the village of Lifton, but the two-year-old daughter was beyond saving.
Six days later, her death is still being regarded as “unexplained,” and investigations are still proceeding.
According to a Devon and Cornwall Police spokeswoman, officers were called to farms in the Lifton region of west Devon around 7 o’clock on Friday, June 16.
At the scene, a two-year-old daughter was declared dead. Her heirs have been notified.
‘The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries remain ongoing on behalf of HM Coroner.’
The Health and Safety Executive has been notified, the spokesperson added.
