    GHC70K is the highest amount I’ve ever been paid – Champion Rollie

    Member of the Dance With Purpose (DWP) group, Roland Frimpong Nyarko, known as Champion Rollie and recently revealed the highest payment he has received as a dancer.

    In an interview on Joy Prime’s 4Kids Paradise with Akosua Debrah, he shared that he earned GH₵ 70,000.00 earlier this year for his role as an influencer during the Ghana vs. Egypt match.

    Rollie was contracted by Football Together, which flew him to Côte d’Ivoire to promote the match on social media.

    He described his astonishment upon seeing the payment in his bank account, noting it as the biggest contract of his career.

    Rollie finds great satisfaction in being paid as a professional dancer, with his earnings varying based on the event and contract.

    Beyond the financial aspect, he values the positive influence he has on the youth and his audience through his art.

    Recently, Rollie organized the ‘Clothe-A-Child; Change A Life’ fun fair, aiding over one hundred street children. He has been dedicated to this project for several years. Looking ahead, Rollie aims to use his earnings to train aspiring young dancers from the streets, helping them secure better futures.

    Additionally, Rollie is considering participating in Britain’s Got Talent (BGT), inspired by his former dance colleague and friend, Afronitaa. He plans to continue showcasing his talent and entertaining audiences with his performances.

    “This is the first time I’m disclosing this. The highest amount I’ve been paid is GH₵ 70,000.00. In January, I had a contract with Football Together, and they flew me to Cote d’Viore to be an influencer for Ghana and Egypt match. I did a lot of things by posting on my social media, and that’s the biggest contract I’ve ever signed,” he revealed.

    “Knowing that you’re having a good impact and influence on the youth and people who are watching you is also an amazing feeling.”

    Former Dance With Purpose (DWP) Academy member Afronitaa, also known as Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah, recently shared her sentiments about leaving the dance group and embarking on new endeavours.

    In an interview with Joy Prime, Afronitaa discussed the challenging decision to part ways with DWP, stating that it was necessary for her to explore other opportunities in line with her personal growth.

    “Obviously, I wasn’t happy, but I’m someone who believes in God and His directions. So, I knew that it was God’s plan for my life. Even if I wasn’t happy, I had to accept it whether I liked it or not,” she noted.

    Earlier this year, Afronitaa officially separated from DWP to pursue her solo dance career.

    DWP acknowledged her departure, affirming that it aligned with their goal of nurturing individual brands within their community of talented artists.

    Recently, Afronitaa and Abigail from TV3 Talented Kids auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent, showcasing their remarkable skills and representing Ghana on an international platform.

    They successfully impressed the judges and advanced in the competition.

    Looking ahead, Afronitaa is gearing up to launch Afrostar Kids Academy on April 14, where she plans to mentor young dancers and cultivate their talents.

    She encourages interested parents to enroll their children in the academy for a nurturing dance education.

    Dance With Purpose Academy confirms Afronitaaa’s departure, celebrates her solo journey

    Dance With Purpose (DWP) Academy formally announces the departure of Afronitaaa, a well-known dance group member, following weeks of circulating rumors.

    In a recent statement, the academy revealed that the decision to part ways with Afronitaaa was challenging but aligned with the organisation’s mission to foster individual brands within its talented members.

    The statement reads, “We are pleased to announce that our beloved Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah (Afronitaaa) has embarked on a solo journey as a brand.

    While it was a difficult decision to let Afronitaaa go, her departure resonates with the core mission of Dance With A Purpose (DWP) Academy to nurture and develop individual brands for our young and gifted personalities.”

    The exact reasons behind Afronitaaa’s decision to leave the group remain unclear, as the young Ghanaian dance sensation has yet to make any public statements regarding her departure.

    Afronitaaa joined DWP in 2018, at the age of 14. She successfully combines dance and education and succeeds at both to the admiration of many. Today, we are all witnesses to the tremendous transformation DWP has had in her life and artistic career.

    She, together with the many talented members of the DWP family has changed the narrative around professional dancing in Ghana and beyond. Afronitaaa’s move is not the first and will certainly not be the last. Indeed, an opportunity like this affirms our slogan; “Find Your Purpose and Live it.”
