A total of 702 recruits from the Basic Infantry Training Course 1-23 (BITC 1-23) have been inducted by the Army Special Operations Training School (ASOTS).
The induction service was held on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Daboya.
On behalf of the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Northern Command, Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Matthew Essien, the Command Operations Officer (COO) Northern Command, Colonel (Col) Franklyn Worlanyo Agbebo, extended his congratulatory message to the recruits for opting to heed to the national call.
He entreated them to be unwavering during training and adhere to the rules. According to him, the training is tedious.
Flight Lieutenant (Flt Lt) Gershon Dotse, in preaching on the theme “The Soldier’s Call”, urged the recruits to always be loyal to God and to their Commanding Officer (CO).
He urged the recruits to be selfless during their training and remain steadfast in faith.
