Manchester City on Tuesday conducted an open training session in preparation for the upcoming Champions League final.
Kyle Walker was however absent from the proceedings. The England full-back had been substituted in the later stages of City’s FA Cup final win against Manchester United at Wembley over the weekend.
While all other players were present, Walker’s absence raised questions about his fitness for the final showdown against Inter Milan in Istanbul.
Manager Pep Guardiola is scheduled to provide an update on the squad’s fitness during a press conference later in the day.
Ahead of that, he said “We will do our best. A final is how you behave [in] that specific 95 minutes, [it’s] not about history. We have to be better than the opponent.”
