U-23 AFCON qualifier: 15 Black Meteors players available to face Algeria

Ghana U-23 coach Coach Ibrahim Tanko will play Algeria with only 15 players in the return leg encounter of the U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Defender Zacharia Fusieni won’t be available for selection after collapsing in their final training in Setif ahead of the crucial game as Osman Bukari is doubtful.

FC Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has also been ruled out due to the accumulation of yellow cards in the qualifying round.

The Black Meteors were held to a 1-1 stalemate by the North African country in the first leg tie at the Accra Sports Stadium last Friday.

Ghana will play against Algeria in the return leg encounter at the May 8 Stadium in Setif on Tuesday.

Kwame Baah, Richmond Ayi, Kingsley Fobi, Gideon Mensah, Nicholas Opoku, Yaw Yeboah, Joseph Painstil, Dauda Mohammed, Bernard Tekpetey, Joel Fameyeh, William Dankyi, Habib Mohammed, Isaac Twum, Emmanuel Cudjoe and Micheal Agbekornu.
