He said: “It is not the case like with some of the other managers where it has been a little bit toxic at times.
“The boys are firmly behind the manager and that is the be all and end all. I have said in many other interviews that it’s the way it will remain.
“We have got amazing coaching staff as well. It is the players’ responsibility first and foremost, the players know that as well.”
Scott McTominay acknowledges that Manchester United has experienced inconsistency this season, with notable wins against Everton and Chelsea but also concerning defeats. Despite the challenging results, McTominay is determined to repay the faith shown by manager Erik ten Hag.
