Partey’s tournament to make comeback in June 2025 to scout young Ghanaian talent

The second edition of the Thomas Partey Tournament is set to take place from June 10 to 13, 2025, following a successful inaugural event in December 2024.

The competition aims to discover, recruit, and nurture young football talents in Ghana.

Twelve teams will be selected from preliminary phases in Accra, Kumasi, and Tamale, with dates for these rounds to be announced. Interested teams and academies must send an email to thomasparteytournament@gmail.com to receive participation guidelines.

Individual players without teams can also reach out for trials with participating sides, subject to ID verification.

The tournament is open to players born in 2007, 2008, and 2009, with special considerations for those born in 2010 and 2011.

The final phase will see group matches played on June 10, 11, and 12, while the semi-finals and final will be held on June 13.

Scouts from Europe and the USA will be in attendance to identify top talents, offering young players the chance to impress and secure opportunities abroad.

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, alongside his agent José Daniel Jiménez, will be present at the event.

The first edition of the tournament proved successful, with eight players earning trials at top European clubs.

The upcoming edition promises to provide even more exposure for Ghanaian football talents.
