Partey missing from Arsenal squad to play against Nottingham Forest

Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, has confirmed that Thomas Partey won’t be playing in the upcoming match against Nottingham Forest. This adds to the team’s challenges as they get ready for Premier League action this week.

After a convincing 5-0 win against Crystal Palace in their last game, Arsenal aims to continue their winning streak.

However, they had a bit of a rough patch towards the end of 2023.

To get back into the race for the league title, Arsenal knows they need victories in the upcoming matches. Nottingham Forest, fighting to avoid relegation, poses a potential challenge.

Arteta stressed the importance of being well-prepared for this match.

In addressing the team’s fitness concerns, Arteta disclosed that Thomas Partey remains unavailable for the forthcoming fixture.

The manager also provided an update on Declan Rice’s status, stating, “We’ve got some late decisions to make. Thomas won’t be one of those. We are still uncertain about a few players. Thomas is not in the squad.”

Tonight, the Gunners aim to overcome challenges and put on a strong performance against Nottingham Forest as they try to make a mark in the Premier League title race.
