Mohammed Adams joins Portuguese side Sporting Club Da Covilha on loan

Ghanaian defender Mohammed Adams will feature for Portuguese second-tier side Sporting Club Da Covilha in the upcoming season after completing a move to the club from FK Honka in Finland.

The 21-year-old joins the club on an initial loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Adams, who is a former player of Planners Athletic, was on loan at Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals in the 2019/2020 season before departing for abroad.

He made seven appearances for the Scientific Soccer Lads in the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.

Adams was a member of the Ghana U-17 team that participated in the 2018 WAFU Zone B tournament held in Togo.

He established himself as a key cog for FK Honka in the Finnish top-flight, appearing severally in the team of the week last season.
