Messi buys waterfront mansion worth $10.8m, 15 mins drive to Inter Miami’s DRV PNK Stadium

Following his remarkable move to the United States, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, Lionel Messi, had been in search of a permanent residence for his family.

He has now found it in a Florida property priced at $10.8 million (£9 million), which boasts an impressive array of features, including 10 bedrooms, a spa room, two boat docks, and a swimming pool.

Spanning 10,500 square feet, Messi’s new home also includes a three-car garage for his convenience.

Moreover, its proximity to Inter Miami’s DRV PNK Stadium and the adjacent training facility, just a 15-minute drive away, ensures that Messi has no excuses for being late to games and practises.

This move comes ahead of the team’s anticipated transition to their new purpose-built stadium in 2025.

In addition to this purchase, the Messi family had previously invested $7.3 million in acquiring the entire ninth floor at Regalia, an opulent condominium development located in the Sunny Isles Beach area of Florida.

Notably, Messi’s fellow club colleague, Sergio Busquets, resides in the vicinity of his latest acquisition, Sea Ranch Lakes.

Since joining Inter Miami, Messi has made an immediate and significant impact, contributing to the team’s historic League Cup victory, securing a place in the U.S. Open Cup final, and aiding their quest for a spot in the MLS Eastern Conference playoffs.
