Manchester United emerge victorious against Aston Villa at Old Trafford

Manchester United secured a remarkable comeback victory against Aston Villa at Old Trafford, overturning a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2 in front of an energetic Boxing Day crowd.

In the first half, Aston Villa took the lead with a John McGinn set-play that found the net, followed by Leander Dendoncker doubling their lead from a corner just five minutes later.

Erik ten Hag’s team displayed resilience and determination after the break. Although an Alejandro Garnacho goal was initially ruled offside by VAR, the Argentine international responded with two goals in just over 10 minutes, leveling the score for the Reds.
