Man Utd and Barcelona race for Sofyan Amrabat as he is bows out of Serie A side

Target for Manchester United and Barcelona, Sofyan Amrabat, has expressed his desire to leave Fiorentina this summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Amrabat has informed Fiorentina of his intention to pursue a new challenge, with interest also coming from Atletico Madrid.

Fiorentina is willing to let him go if their asking price of €35 million (£30 million) is met.

Amrabat has attracted significant interest, but he has made it clear that he is only interested in joining a Champions League club like Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, or Manchester United.

Other offers are reportedly not being considered.

Since joining Fiorentina in 2020, the Moroccan international has made 107 appearances for the Serie A club.

However, it was during the World Cup that he made a significant impact, as he helped Morocco reach the semi-finals in Qatar.

Amrabat’s future is likely to be settled before the end of the summer, given the amount of interest in the midfielder.
