Likely lineup for Black Stars-Mexico clash

Head coach of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton, may field a strong lineup for his first challenging test since assuming the position in February.

The Black Stars are set to compete against Mexico at the Bank of America Stadium, marking their first match in the October international break.

Lawrence Ati-Zigi is likely to be in goal, supported by a defensive quartet consisting of Alidu Seidu, Nicholas Opoku, Joseph Aidoo, and Gideon Mensah.

Thomas Partey is expected to make his return to the starting lineup tonight, marking his first appearance since June 2023. He is likely to pair up with Salis Samed Abdul in a double pivot role.

In the attacking lineup, Inaki Williams is anticipated to lead the frontline, with Ernest Nuamah and Jordan Ayew flanking him on the right and left sides, respectively.

Kudus Moahmmed might take up a position behind Inaki in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

The game is scheduled for a 00:30 GMT (12:30 am local time) kickoff.
