Joyce Annor Yeboah makes history as the first Ghanaian coach to join Juventus Academy

Juventus Academy Ghana has bolstered its coaching team with the appointment of Joyce Annor Yeboah, also known as Afia Empress, marking a significant milestone as she becomes the first Ghanaian female tactician to join the academy’s staff since its inception in October 2023.

Yeboah, 24, obtained her CAF coaching licence while pursuing her education at the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ).

With a passion for coaching, she has actively sought opportunities to enhance her skills by visiting various clubs and immersing herself in coaching knowledge.

Her appointment underscores the academy’s commitment to diversity and inclusion in its coaching staff.

Working alongside former Ghana and Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah, Yeboah will contribute her expertise to all levels of the academy, striving to elevate their technical proficiency and coaching capabilities.
